  • @Ryan-bc2wh
I have found the worst thing about flying economy is flying economy
  • @BK-ni6me
Lack of leg room and personal space is my biggest pet peeve.
  • Take two aspirin at the start of your travel day. The aspirin will help to prevent blood clots from forming and alleviate minor aches and pains before they start. Also, I bring saline nasal spray. It helps me to deal with the dry airplane air.
  • @achevres
May I strongly suggest not putting your valuables (money belt) in the front pocket. This is super niche, but most accidents are during take-off and landing (and most people survive), and if you have to evacuate it will make a huge difference if you have your passport, cards, phone on your person. Also, anything in the front pocket can be forgotten, stolen or get dirty. But the rest are great tips.
  • Carry a resealable silicone sac to hold that money belt in before you put it in the back pocket to keep it clean. Permanently tape a ribbon to that sac and hang it over the edge of the seat pocket to remind you it's there.
  • @awgnaw
Puts the money belt in the seat back pocket… Me: NOOOooOO!😬 Just use a body bag and snap it around the arm/s of the tray table (after disinfecting everything you’re likely to touch, including tray table arms, of course). When you’re going to the loo, take your bag with you.

The worst thing about economy is that it's not business class. 😊
  • @makistar2001
I take these with me on the flight: 1 - Therm-a-Rest lumbar travel pillow, I don't always need to use it but some seats don't have much lower back support. It's compact after all the air are out. 2 - Listerine pocketpaks fresh breath strips instead of brushing my teeth inflight, don't want to use their water to rinse. 3 - Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, I don't have makeup to remove but the wipe cleans my face without drying and it's individually wrapped, doesn't take up any room.
  • I don’t use a toothbrush and paste inflight because they keep saying the restroom water isn’t potable. So to brush your teeth you have to take bottled water with you to the restroom. On the plane I use Wisps (or equivalent brand)-tiny individual toothbrushes with a dab of paste built in. I always try for reusable things but this is one of the few disposable exceptions that’s worth it.

Absolutely must have Immodium AD in that pill kit. I was in Iraq with my unit back in 2004 and my body decided it wanted to do an untimely release as we're in convoy. Had a fellow soldier not handed me the Immodium, it would have been horrifying not only for me but my driver as well. 😮
  • @BSGSV
The worst thing on flights is sick people coughing, sneezing and doing everything the can to get me sick too.
  • I bring a tennis ball in my bag. They work great to relieve pressure points or "knots" (massage therapist trick).
  • I take a small garbage bag or even like a Walmart bag and put it in the seat pocket it front of me. Several uses, if I get sick (rarely but it has happened), you can slip your things you need on the flight, like earphones, or iPad or whatever so it’s easy to reach and you don’t have to expose your items to the funky seat backs and finally I put my garbage from snacks, Kleenex etc into it and throw it away on my way out
  • I always bring ear plugs to help with the pressure from takeoff and landing . Benadryl is great for overnight flights for sleeping too. I have never heard of toothbrushes being provided by the airline—American Airlines definitely doesn’t provide them for economy class passengers 😂
  • My Mom and I are leaving for Vietnam, early Sunday morning. This was the perfect time to make this video.
  • The big peevvvv, when we have purchased bulk head seats, and people use it as a thoroughfare….we have paid for this space, and it drives me mad. So I put my bags, pillow and blanket it the space, to try and block them…
  • I usually need more legroom in economy, so I usually pay for an exit row, or upgrade to premium if it’s a long flight.
