When I first heard Country Roads, I also thought it would sound good with Auld Lang Syne. I’m happy to know other people thought the same thing and some have made mashups of these songs 😄

Does anyone know why these work well together? Are they in the same key? Similar chords? I was listening to a Country Roads orchestral version and it reminded me of Auld Lang Syne so I searched for this.
