Sorry for the shaky footage due to older camera and choppy water. For 65 years, The Martin Mars water bombers have been based in my hometown until today as the Hawaii Mars had made its last ever flight to the BC Aviation Museum adjacent to Victoria int Airport near Sidney BC Canada. Soon the other MArs plane Philippine Mars after 17 years of inactivity is being prepped for a return to flying status, also on a final flight to Tucson Arizona air museum later next month or two. Our lives will be a bit more emptier without these giant warbirds around.
