I'm excited BUT you can't tell Mufasa's story without telling Scar's and I don't want them to change it's actually Mufasa's fault he has that scar. Mufasa gave him the name Scar.

Okay, most of us can agree the 2019 Lion King wasn't all that great (although I found it just mediocre), but I still have hope for this. We know it won't just be the first movie shot-for-shot again, the animation will still be amazing and if you're going to do a Lion King prequel, the director of Moonlight is a damn good choice. It could suck, but there's no way to know until December.
