Viewer Warning: Highly speculative, chemically induced Elden Ring Hypotheses. Have you also ever wondered why Malenia marched south to face Radahn? Are you also wondering why Radahn is a requirement to enter the Shadow of the Erdtree? I think it's because Miquella and Malenia's Empyrean fate is guided by the stars just like their Big Step-sis Ranni. Lemme tell you why.

The devil went down to Caelid, not lookin for a Shard to steal. She was nearly blind, but in Miquella's mind, she was perfect to make the Kill.

The parallels between the Carian royalty and Miquella/Malenia’s faction are many, there are items that point to clear diplomacy and cultural exchange. (Miquella Knight Sword, Icerind Hatchet)

i think Mohg is helping Miquella, but in a different way. After the Haligtree plan failed, i think MIquella needed to get to the land of shadow and the only way to do that is to divest himself of his flesh, his lineage, etc. So i think Mogh was instrumental in basically defiling Miquella's physical form so he could escape to the land of shadow.

The game implies a relationship between the Numen, Nox, astrologers, and Carians. In that case, wouldn't all demigods, as offspring of the Numen Marika/Radagon, have fates tied to the stars?
  • I just had this thought today, that Miquella in his dream during Mohg's transition to his palace, was the blue spirit fairy that help Melania. Those trees that are all broken with blue shock spirits near them, those are ancestral follower spirits that became trees, but spilled out after the trees got destroyed before fully growing. So if this happened with Miquella, his spirit may have done what he always dreamed of, helping Melania. But Miquella was sleeping and this was a dream to him, his spirit may be older then his body and hard to recognize for Melania. This would give his spirit form a blue fairy like form, literally flying through the air with his sword. But here is the thing, Miquella is very stongly thematically like Fillianore, and something bad happens when she wakes up. The sleep and madness status effects have the same galaxy background, the sleep has a closed peaceful eye in the middle. The frenzy has an open pissed off eye in the middle. The sleep spirit may have been Saint Trina, the older, female spirit version of Miquella's dream self that ended up physically helping his sister possibly without knowing the difference between his dreams, and Melania possibly not knowing that was another form of her brother. During Trina's short visit to the lands between, she was so bewitching, that an entire cult formed around shooting people with sleep arrows to spread their faith. Idk wtf is going on with this last part, but there was a man who, unable to become a finger maiden, instead traveled the lands spreading his faith. There was also a man, most likely the same man, who was so obsessed with St. Trina, that he continued his search for her in his slumber. It would be pretty crazy if Miquella was trying to find his other self, obsessing over his dreams of Trina. But what happens when a sleeping god wakes up? "by the king's decree, Fiallianore's slumber must not interrupted. The king's decree is no trifling matter, the abyss runneth deep" "spear of the church... MAKE HASTE!" There are a good couple quotes from the ringed city that smack pretty hard when compared to Elden Ring characters, I think the locust sermons each describe a particular character quite well for being in a different game. "one... poor girl, slew her own kin. But even so, was embraced, enveloped by the abyss. Twas a comfort neither moon nor sunless sky afforded her before" Ranni "one... met the dark with learning, but in the end... found his knowledge was wanting. The world began without knowledge, and without knowledge will it end" Gideon

I don't think Miquella and Malenia have any kind of connection with their lineage to the Carians, the golden star governs the destiny of the gods and in turn Malenia and Miquella who are destined to become one, they also need the eclipse for the ritual So the whole need to kill Radahn makes complete sense to them, Miquella can't achieve godhood and resurrect Godwyn as long as Radahn keeps the stars in place
  • Miq defending the Misbegotten and Omens being a shunned form of life; how did we miss this? Of course Miq was helping Mohg, he'd have taken pity. Miq had a cursed youthful body - a curse most would WANT yet it limited Miq's ambition and ability. Hence the Haligtree plan, kill Radahn move the stars of fate, Malenia guards the tree while Mohg guards the womb, in the Land of Shadows they all were working towards the defeat of Messmer to enact the Eclipse to ressurect Godwyn. Great vid
  • Your logic is sound, trolling aside. Mog being an anti-villian in all this makes the Tarnished both helping and hurt Miquella's plans. Guess we'll have to see if Miquella is happy or angry ar the Tarnished when they arrive in the DLC.

I still don’t trust Miquella. Something about his ability troubles me. He is known to have a bewitching power and all love him….he is also known as the most fearsome Empyrean and likely to succeed Marika above all else. I have this low key feeling he orchastrated everything that lead to the Shattering and coaxed everyone to do their own thing on certain ways. A little suggestion here, a little empathy there. All so he could get to the land of shadows and walk his mother’s footsteps so he can become the next god.
  • Real good video man! You went over a lot of solid points and made me think of the trio in a whole new way. 👌🏾
  • @TheAjmos
I dont think Mohg made the cocoon because there are a bunch of smaller cocoons scattered around the Hailigtree. Miquella's followers (Albinaurics/misbegotten) were trying to evolve past their afflictions also.
  • @Chessheromusic
It's assumed that Miquella wanted another erd tree In fact the halig tree became the heaven of the albinaurics who don't have grace or live by the erd tree Also with godwyn a sub or alternate path of life and death As there is now Living in death Both are not bound by the erd tree Even furthermore Miquella is not finished as he seems to want to expose the darker world of the golden order
  • @azx7023
Nah, I think Miquella is just using mogh with compelled affection.
  • @joeyjones9041
Another connection is Mohgwyn Dynasty is said to be based in love and Miquella wields love as a weapon.
  • @scragglie
great video bro, i absolutely agree and would go one step further. they are ALL in cohoots with eachother. morgott names all of the demigods as traitors, including general radahn. i believe ranni, as well as melina (possibly miquella alter ego?) are also aligned with miquella. considering there will be no new ending, i believe miquellas ending aligns nearly perfectly with rannis. therefore it would make sense that her ending remains the true ending, as it accomplishes miquellas goal of removing the influence of the outer gods, as well as the greater will and marika. even radagon aligned against marika in the end, and became a puppet of the elden beast/greater will, just as the gloam eyed queen became a puppet of the outer god of "gloam" or whatever
  • @zackdoom
I have a feeling we need to beat radahn because some meteors also fell in the land of shadow and we’ll go into their underground to see the first eternal city Literally that simple The city marika first landed may not been what it is now
  • 10:20 wasn’t Mohg basically transfiguring himself into blood and entering Miquella’s body in order to feed his carcass strength and “share his bloody bedchambers”
  • @cbl8439
damn this makes malenia and radahn fight way more layered. she aint doing it for greed, to conquer and claim a huge ass rune, she doing for her brother. everybody bashes on her for nuking caelid when she was about to lose the fight, but we don't even know if she scarlet bloomed on purpose. and she is the blade of miquella, after all. damn i kinda feel sorry for her
