This is actually kinda a good representation of what self care should be
  • It's funny how in the last frame, the doggos just squinting at her like "What are you doing?"
  • “When headache. Take nap” When your headache is so bad you physically can’t take a nap: video game death noise

This is a really good example of what self love and healthy coping mechanisms should be. Not kidding, this made me feel motivated.

I love the way they draw their dog. It’s so derpy looking.
  • The fact that you replenish hp by actually doing healthy things is both good and beyond my understanding

  • Here are some alternatives when these are a lot to handle :) Some toothpaste on your finger is a nice quick way to brush your teeth without too much going on. Otherwise, mouthwash can be very refreshing if you arent able to brush your teeth all the time! It's much better than not at all. So can a quick floss with those little handheld floss thingies. As for fruit after junk food.. Not everyone has fruit all the time (at lots of grocery stores it can get expensive, darn economy). One thing you can do is to drink some water, not too much though or the food in your stomach could expand if you had a lot. You just need some so you don't get overloaded with sodium right away. Also, next time you go shopping, search for the cheapest, tasty fruit you can (don't buy fruit you don't *at least kind of like* just cause it's on sale, otherwise you might avoid eating it). Lots of groceries have a discount section, and plenty have fruit/veggies that are already cut up and prepared! And Walmart has little More healthy things: yogurt, no-sugar-added juice, any quick snack with protein like nuts or peanut butter + substitutes Now not everybody can nap very easily when they've got a headache, so I recommend having some water to start. In my experience, If you start off with just a bit, you'll find yourself wanting more, bc your body is realizing how much it wants hydration, and you might drink much more than you felt like having earlier! Then if you are in a situation where you can take a nap, do a tiny bit of low intensity exercise, and that should help your body wind down a little bit. (If it's too intense you may feel a bit jumpy before you feel tired). And depending on the type of headache, you may be able to lower the pain by massaging certain pressure points; sinus headache for example can be soothed by pressing the middle of your brow. I do not recommend pressing against your temples though, that can make the pain worse and could harm you. Look up safe headache soothing techniques :) The next one is always great: listening to your favorite music (especially upbeat music) can help with the happy chemicals in your brain! As for pets, sadly not everybody has a pet (I don't), but cute animal videos always make me happy. And hugging teddy bears or plushies for a while also helps with your brain's happy chemicals! I hope these alternatives can help when your mental health makes everything feel impossible (they really help me), but remember, just getting out of bed, eating at all, those are good enough, and you are doing good. If arent able to do those things, you are still good enough, but remember that you deserve recovery and happiness. :)

Puppies are the best, you feel so lost and then you realize they are there for you.
  • Even though it’s a short animation, this is important. Take care of yourself, buddies.
  • HP is like serotonin, you need to keep it up as much as possible...
