Andrew - Heavy Equipment Operator extraordinaire, part Engineer, part Welder, part Historian, part Small Engine Mechanic, part Cinematographer/Producer, part Boat Enthusiast, mostly a generally nice guy. Now that is a combination...

one of the good things about this lads videos is the length.good way to pass an hour on dark evenings in Ireland.better than tv.

I've been watching Andrew's videos for awhile; my children fixed our lawn mower, a gravel compactor, and a gas powered pressure washer after I was rewatching this video last month and they were bored and wanted something to do. Take that shut down school system, Professor Camarata has inspired them a ton over "covid break"

The ease of how you fix things is amazing. I'm lucky to have a friend/neighbor who is a lot like you but we live in mobile home and don't have a garage. He's a mechanic also. I know he would love a shop like yours with the lift in it. Stay safe Andrew !!! Keep up the great content. You're helping a lot of people. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos Rodney
  • My wife has been after me for a week to get the leaves out of our lawn.  She just walked in on me watching Andrew mowing his leaves at the end.  Awkward.
  • I love the old pics with the scooters, you haven’t changed much at all! Living life like you do has kept you young. Stay safe and stay cool
  • If my wife Patricia and me had a son, he would be just like Andy. Wait a minute! We do have a son that is just like Andy!! 4 of them! Lol 😆 😆 😆 😆 All 4 NW Montana born & raised in my families Logging & Ranching Operations. And we are as proud of them, as I’m sure Andy’s daddy, is of him.

  • You never cease to amaze me Andrew with the things you can fix and your knowledge of how to do it. I'm 51 years old and I learn so much from you keep up the good work. And thanks.

"That's Gas... You can tell it's gas cause of the way it is"

I've obviously been watching too many machinist's channels (Abom79, etc), because when you got to the bent crankshaft, I was thinking "He's going to have to completely disassemble the motor, put the crankshaft on vee blocks and then check the run out with a dial indicator while using an arbor press to straighten it." Or you could use a sledgehammer. On the other hand, maybe I should have expected this from someone who uses a chainsaw to install a radio. Thanks for all the tips, especially the cable replacement.
  • You really reminded me of a guy i know...retired foreman on a coal mine...he has the same attitude like you, getting things done...the last time you installed that car stereo with a chainsaw i instantly thought of him... The welded blade and the straightened shaft could really be done by him.. Thx for your very funny and interesting videos! :-D

Hahaha. Let’s fix this by adding fuel. Genius!

From the age of 12 I had to know about engines and how to fix just about everything mechanical by 15. I was also home tutored in the UK. My two boys will have to undergo the same learning curve starting next year. These videos are priceless thanks for posting Andrew.
