Exciting Shindler Miconic 10 Elevators, New Orleans Marriott Quarter Tower, New Orleans, LA

Recorded July 9, 2022, here we begin an exciting two part series, a look at the elevators at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans, LA. These are the Quarter Tower elevators, which serve 21 floors. These are Shindler Miconic 10 Destination Dispatch elevators, and there are four of them in this tower, Cars H, I, J, and K. We ride cars H, I, and J in this video. The cabs are absolutely beautiful, and these were so much fun to ride. These were my first Miconic 10s, and I enjoyed having the opportunity to see how they worked up close.
Just a few notes as you watch this video:
1. I am using Handycapped Mode due to my visual impairment.
2. I did have to make a few edits, and some of them are a bit choppy, sorry.
3. These elevators were quite busy, so I was unable to get a nonstop trip up to floor 21. However, I believe that you should still be able to get a sense of how fast these elevators are.
4. There were a lot of people around, and there were a number of points where I had to put the camera down while filming. You should still be able to see these absolutely beautiful elevators.

    I kept finding these elevators by accident every time I was in the lobby. I did however manage to find both elevator lobbies after some practice.

    I'm surprised you didn't manage to do the elevators over at the Sheraton. Or did you go there often? I went there once for the independence market.

    With these elevators be considered low rise since they only go to floor 21? The same is for high-rise with the ones at the river tower.
