Of all the Korean dramas I am watching right now (and it has been a good year regarding k-content I like so far 😊) this is my favorite. It is light and funny with great acting from everyone but it has a serious crime element to it too, which is a great thing for someone who listens to like 20+ crime podcasts regularly 😅 (although I am asking myself why romance kdramas all have serial killers lately or maybe it has always been like that and I have just never noticed it before 🤔). And I also really enjoy the social commentary in it ie how they put a mirror to society about how much age discrimination and prejudice there still is in the world, sadly 😢. Just because someone is older does not mean that they cannot continue to contribute to society in a meaningful way. Imo each age has a special wisdom to it.
