Thank you, man. I got my set from ali, and it worked well, I removed 3 stripped screws from my Legion 5. Also I noticed, that you did not use drill bits, but in my case that saved my life. When trying to remove stripped screw, first use small drill bit, and then bigger one, and only then, when it starts to remove screw, use extractor bit, all these actions on reverse and with small speed. For legion 5 I used dr#10 and then dr#9, and only then ex#9, and that worked! Thank you!

The worst is when the manufacture did the mess! Thanks Asus or whoever worked for them.

MANY MANY thanks for this video and the link to the stripped screw removal set! It took me less than 10 seconds to remove the stripped hex screw on my laptop. Battery replacement was an absolute breeze once I got the cover off! Thanks again!!!

Thank you! I was upgrading the drives in two laptops, an ACER Nitro and an ASUS Vivobook. The latter has screws at an odd angle, two of which got stripped. After watching your instructions, I ordered the necessary tools from your recommendations. It worked with no problems.
  • Thanks to this I got the courage to use this bits and automatic screwdriver on a Lenovo Laptop and it worked perfectly, I appreciate your video.

Thank you. I am a believer; these work. Excellent! I have been repairing laptops for 20+ years and have been very fortunate to have never had to deal with a stripped screw until this week. Unfortunately, this was the screw holding down the M.2 SSD module inside the laptop, and very small. A quick search on Google turned up your video and the set you recommended. This was a God-sent and the best 20 bucks I've spent in a long time. The screw was out in under 30 seconds. Let me add; use light pressure on the drill and drill as slowly as possible. Having Scotch tape handy to dab up any metal dust is recommended when working inside the case.

  • @bopal93
Nice! Now I understand what are those "small drill" like bits that came with my laptop repair kit. Thanks!

  • @Canada_Facts
Quick Question - Do we have to use the Dr bit first to drill and then the Ex bit to extract or can we just use the Ex and get done?
  • @axv2655
Do you got a recommended drill for this (preferably cheap), the one I got isnt high enough power for this.
  • @ergunburak
Hi, can i use this extraction bits with screwdriver (by hand). Or do i have to use drill?
