Just a thought for future videos. There are almost no videos that show the pilot getting in or out of the aircraft. Some planes look like they might be a challenge for some people to enter and exit. It would be nice to see how hard or easy entry and egress is. Thanks for the good video on the Wagabond!

That observer window makes this plane a thousand times cooler!
  • @dicel87
That’s a really pretty no frills airplane.
  • The Colt is a Pa-22 same as a Tri Pacer Pa-22, but the Colt is 2 seat versus the four seat Tri Pacer. They are even listed on the same Type Certificate Data Sheet. I have a 1959 Tri Pacer 150 (O-320) for my first airplane and learning how to fly, I really enjoy flying it. I’d like to see you do a feature on the Tailwind. I’m building a W-10 Tailwind from plans. I’m purchasing an O-320 for it as well.

Nice airplane. I like them better with the J3 ailerons like the Vagabonds have. Lots of Colt parts out there so I understand why they use Colt wings and shorter ailerons.
  • Longer prop will give you more thrust, you need to change prop pitch to get more speed

Piper also wanted to go bigger. That was the PA 16 clipper
  • @dancahill8555
So fine! I'd want just one door and a Piper throttle on the left. But otherwise sign me up for one!

I search the website for a complete kit and only found raw parts? The few click bait shots of this aircraft I believe in a Wag a Bond Traveller, is there a full kit available or is it a parts build? I still prefer the fully tuned Rans S21 kit, 141 wing, all metal fuselage & body with STOL characteristics, yet can go fast too.

It’s a sweet airplane but these guys are hard to interview. I wish as airplane builders and owners they could tell you how their aircraft performs. This is data I believe every owner should know. I know flying by the seat of your pants is great but when your engine stops you want to set your aircraft up for maximum glides and know your sink rate. And if the engine starts up again you want to know best angle of clime or best speed. When you watch test pilots who can take an aircraft to its ultimate limit it’s not by flying by the seat of their pants it knowing where these limits are. It flys really great is not an answer I understand. It may fly really great but who knows?
  • The interlude was much better placed on the back of a question. Was not tempted to kill the vid because I thought it was over..
  • @karlozols1256
Cool airplane flaps can be put.I think it's possible
  • @mattnnz
How would these guys get around the 50% rule?
