Merida is hot as hell. I got out of there, when I was 21 by airplane to CDX at night! I am 82 now, but Acapulco was the best. Earthquakes were the deal breakers, so I relocated to Queretaro in 2021 at 79 with a suitcase and backpack. I paid to have my home emptied, and rented a furnished apartment, that includes everything in Queretaro.

I moved back to Mexico 10 year ago and keep on loving it. It is not in my mind going back to the USA again. Greetings from a Mexican living an awesome life in Guanajuato state.

I've just arrived in Merida, Mexico. I'll sum up my experience: I departed ATL on a Delta/AeroMexico flight from the "busiest" Airport in world and arrived in MID, which has to be one of the least busiest airports in North America. Ours was the ONLY aircraft on the airports ONLY runway. Don't misunderstand; MID is as modern and nice as any airport in North America. The Uber ride to El Centro was reminiscent of a recent taxi rides in Rome, Italy. Traffic is similar craziness.

Wow before even listening to the content I want to compliment you on your esthetics. The video quality, the understated yet elegant garment selection and the refined studio setting with the matching lamp shade and Tucan all comingle to make a pleasurable visual sensory experience! I routinely listen to many of your posts while driving as I'm in the car 50K miles/year. This is a rare time when I turned the phone sideways and set YouTube to full screen and again, very impressive asthetics! Okay, now I'll start listening to the content 🤣

Mexico's economy is growing much more than here in the USA! And I have also heard that life is much calmer and happier, thank you sir for information 🙏
  • Also, the Mexican industry doesn't need to import energy, soon México wbe self-sufficient in oil and gas, and lithium, etc. plenty of work force .

I recently obtained permanent residency and am thinking about going for citizenship eventually just incase something happens in the future that would make me want to give up my US citizenship. As a general rule living is a lot more laid back there. Family is extremely important and everything about family is celebrated - I think this makes for a much happier society. There is that support system that comes with being a member of your clan that results in a stronger and healthier community. Religion being strong part of society in Mexico adds to this phenonemon as well. The US is very socially conflicted right now and is floundering dangerously. As well, even though the dollar has weakened against the peso, with some common sense you can live a pretty darn high quality of life if you have some money going into it. You can spend a little or a lot, like anywhere.
  • I agree the future of Mexico looks like it could be very good. The work ethic in the US seems to have collapsed, no one seems to want to work anymore. I have been working for four decades in the US, and I have never seen a work ethic like today, many people don't even come in to the office. Mexico is still full of hard workers, eager to work and they are set up to replace China as the US trading partner. Its not so much that they are doing anything new, its just that they are positioned perfectly to inherit the industries that the US has lost.
  • Mexican here... I am always amazed at how green the grass looks on the other side of the fence... Not counting my chicks until all of my eggs are hatched...

Most Americans have no idea about Mexico but they think they know everything / enough. They’re wrong. Been living here for 3 years and love it.
