i wanted to give my two cents about venom's gender since so many people are debating it in the comments venom is an alien. they don't have a human concept of gender. i think he's okay with he/him pronouns and ig he would technically be nonbinary but he's not a cisgender male. mlnb (men loving nonbinary) is recognized as an lgbtq+ sexual orientation. even if venom isn't a male by their or earth's standards, a relationship between a male human and a nonbinary individual is still gay and there's nothing straight whatsoever about venom and eddie's relationship. sorry homophobes but you lost this one, the space goo is hella gay.

Gotta say I love that (minor spoiler) they don’t make Dan an arsehole like yeah he concerned about his partner getting into all this wild alien shit but he’s never a dick or cold towards Eddie for the sake of it and by the end even venom likes him so I think venom out here with his three partners by the end being in a much healthier happier place with Eddie and I’m so happy!

I can only remember when I went to see that movie, the moment where Venom gets into a party and Venom tells a girl that he's sorry but she's not his type, I said: yes, cuz he gay. and proceeded to take a sip of soda and while I was taking my soda vemon says: i got out of eddies closset. And I immediately spit out my soda because I wasn't really expecting that kind of comment, my friend wasn't expecting it either because he reacted the same as me and now it's an epic moment of ours. this movie was just epic in general
