  • Thank you for sharing. I am from Oregon and now live in Colorado. Oregon is a great state. I am excited for you and you getting your education. Thank you for making a change in DHS. Stay the course even when it is hard. Thank you for your videos to help others out here making changes in their life. You have touched the lives of others in unknown ways. Peace

Thank you for sharing this. It genuinely made me stop and think, because I realized that even though I consider myself to be an ally and progressive-minded, I would probably hesitate to adopt my child if I saw "transgender" in the home study, even though I would never hesitate if it was your family. I have absolutely no idea why and I realized that I have prejudices that I wasn't aware of. Clearly I need to reflect on that. Thank you for making me think, and hopefully be better. I wish you and your family the best.

DADE! There are very few people who's wisdom and actions I trust. Thank you for being precise and eloquent and caring. Thank you for your effort in smoothing the road for others. I'm sending so much love to you and your family.

Great to hear an update from you, Dade. Thanks for always going the extra mile to help the community. I hope you can take some time to relax and recover from all of the stress.
  • It's awesome to see you doing an update. It's a relief to know you are still a happy family.
  • You're such a brave dude, I'm not sure if you realize how many lives you've already positively impacted. Being human is all part of this experience, but sharing it and standing up for what you believe in has already changed the world man ✌️💙 thank you
  • @ensoyaya
I hope, some day, you consider writing a book or doing a documentary about your experience. Your videos have broadened my understanding and deepened my compassion. Your honesty with sharing your experience (and Tiff as well) has made me a better nurse practitioner. Thank you.

Congratulations on growing and moving forward. Self-compassion and self-care are so important.
  • Thank you Dade for this video. I am actually in a position where I can relate to how you feel. I have always watched Your videos and they have helped me with my transition and the decisions I've made for myself. I feel the way you are is very similar to myself in the way we think. Thank you for the advice about adoption. It should help a lot of us trans people that do want to adopt in the future. Hope you can find peace in your life and enjoy the fact that you have helped many people through the hardest of times. Thank you, God bless you and your growing family!

Lol damn I wish you guys could adopt me! It's crazy how you uploaded a video today because I was just thinking about your channel and then bloop.. your video came up in my notifications. However, it's awesome to hear from you guys and hear you all are doing well. You're incredibly inspirational and you'll definitely have one hell of a story to tell one day! 😃
  • @rand1jcl
You are such an inspiration! I'm happy to hear you guys are fine! So sorry for your loss. I really hope this adoption goes through. You and Tiffany seem like wonderful parents! Much love!
  • @TheSLOfox
I'm glad you're doing better than you were. I enjoyed getting an update! Ugh, that is so crazy that you were being discriminated against. Good for you for "taking action on your own behalf," as my old therapist would say. :)
  • Keep your head up, buddy. Thanks for still speaking up. Give me a shout if you ever need anything. I'll help however I can.
