Siddaramaiah Tuesday first approved and then held back a draft law reserving 50% of managerial jobs and 70% of non-managerial jobs in the private sector for Kannadigas, with clauses for nodal officers to verify their language skills. In Episode 1483 of Cut The Clutter, Editor-in-Chief @Shekhar Gupta discusses its drawbacks and why it can be challenged like a similar law in Haryana.

  • I think Rahul's constitutional saviour book is not distrubed to karnataka 😂
  • "Liberal" Kiran Mazumder Shaw got a taste of what a "Fascist" government Actually looks like 😂
  • @Hanamantaray
CM siddu expert in diverting issues and he knows how to control the media. Whenever he is on Blackfoot he brings Nandini,Kannada,Kaveri issue , his backward caste (I am also belongs to same caste) .his 4000cr scam in MUDA and 187 cr ST board scam .
  • @Kakarot_369
If reservations based on regionalism and language are possible in the private sector, reservations based on caste and religion could also arise in the future. This is not a good sign for a developing country even after 75 years of independence.
  • @shirishrk
I am a hard core kannadiga. i oppose this law. This would do more damage to us than good. Really substandard thinking. When will we go beyond vote bank politics. Govt should stay away from private sector.
  • I am from Karnataka. The only purpose of this bill is to divert the attention of people away from the multiple scams Siddu is involved in. Goal achieved when the entire national media talks only about this. Also, now BJP in Karnataka has to wait for some more time before bringing up the scams as they can not be seen to be opposing Kannadiga interests. Siddu wins even though this bill will never become the law.
  • Main reason why the Country will never become a powerhouse..
  • @rajx7120
Instead of distributing companies across Karnataka, encourage growth of smaller cities, they do these gimmicks.
  • @divyang4482
this Karnataka CM is caught in corruption, hence he try to create different news headline, our news channel are stupid, ,they have to do publish more news about this CM's corruption.
  • I thought Rahul Gandhi is the ultimate PAPPU in khangress... Sidda proved me wrong
  • @ab20037
I am kannadiga & against this law it is just brought to distract public from Scams Cong has done But A request to all other language people to respect Kannada & it's culture when you are staying here 🙏
  • @bsingh8888
Next CONgress should introduce a law that 50% of tax revenues go into gandi family bank accounts and Indians need visas and passports to enter CONgress ruled States!
  • @tapemaj
Haryana initiated it and met with disaster ….. Years ago Bal Thackeray demanded too .. disaster them days ! Such laws in Bharat never pass the supreme court’s judgment . Why not Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities be infrastructure developed in Bharat ?
  • Something that amaze me these politician even knowing these such bills never stand in court of law but still try to fool people, bihar quota struck down by patna high court, haryana reservation struck down by court before that maratha quota, prestigious industry body like nasscim has to openly raise concern about it shows u how our politician are failing our economy for their self political interest
  • @jw8752
This is typical congress mentality. Seems that Congress do not think of India as a whole unit. This tendency will create animosity between peoples of different state and thus an insecure India. Shame on you Congress!!!
  • Why government is interfering in private sector? First, government has to do it's job properly. Are government services like health, education, infrastructure etc good in Karnataka ?
  • @Naresh00009
Please pass the law Mr Sidhharamiah Plzzzzzzzzzzzz We need jobs in Maharashtra Plz do so at the earliest However ONLY kannadigas will have to learn Marathi for jobs here 😉😉😉
  • Since this Siddaramiyah became CM hes been trying to divide people. Earlier he tried to divide lingayat community. North/South divisive sentiment also took root during his rule.
  • Kannada is NOT the language of all residents of Karmataka. The coastal konkan region has its own languages. Northern Karnataka speaks Marathi / Hindi. Areas bordering Andhra or Telangana speak Telugu! Muslims don't speak local languages and tend to speak urdu at home.
