Where’s all the money that was donated? Why isn’t with the people?

Why isn’t this administration helping these AMERICANS?! WTF?! We will give illegals and other countries EVERYTHING!……And our own FAMILY of AMERICANS get the bare minimum! It’s sickening and we need a change of government!
  • Oprah needs to put her money where her mouth is and Help the people of Maui !!!!!

Suicides started just DAYS AFTER THE FIRE. One person lost several family members in the fire and jumped from his red cross hotel room..... How are they only talking about this now? Smfh

They are making rentals too expensive all across America!
  • @brushjunkie6384
Housing was already unaffordable before short term rentals came around

This is the land of indigenous Hawaiians. It is criminal that banks are slicing up the land to outsiders and the government is profiting off it.

If we could help the Maui locals as much as we did the illegal immigrants on the mainland that would make sense

Praying for the people of Lahaina. My sister had to leave the island too after almost 20 years. Luckily, she her husband and pets survived but Her house burned down with her whole neighborhood. Many of her neighbors were not so lucky. 😢

It’s sad seeing people pushed off their land that has been in their family for multi generations
  • $9000 is welfare money compared to what their property was actually worth. It’s insulting.

I did a satellite view of Lahaina and I fell apart. I remember traveling down Front St., buying crocs, eating pizza, admiring the galleries, to just seeing burned spots and tearing up. I am sorry to those who lost homes and loved ones to suicide. ❤❤. I’m praying for all of you.

Last time I checked, the government in that area never helped the people when the fire started. The cops there did nothing to help.

very sad these folks in maui have an uncaring corrupt local government

The federal government should help Ohio train fire victims and Maui fire victims clean up and rebuild their town and homes. Stop funding the Ukraine war with Russia. Close the borders. Stop the deaths from fentanyl.

And people still think it was a natural wildfire- like the Paradise Fire and others.

People don't understand forming strong connections to their homeland anymore. Knowing you can't live where you truly want is soul crushing
