Hello- my father (80) has had recurring headache/vertigo (he had ear issues) and became worse last couple of months which promoted MRI scan- report just details enlarged pituitary is 14x14mm w few necrotic foci but no supersellar extension. , no invasion etc. He had recent blood tests- normal, he has had no vision problems either. Will be taking him to specialist soon but curious about your take.

A focal area of abnormal signal with low enhancement in early dynamic post contrast scan in right side of pitutiary gland measure 7×4mm which appers mild hypointense on T2 sequence and isiontense on T1W sequence ... Sir mera prolectin 138 aaya hai aur mri mei yh aaya hai oper mention hai period mei problem hai sir btaye yh kitna hai??? Sir uterus lining bhi thin hai 3mm aur pcod bhi hai toh sir kya iska effect uterus lining par bhi pdta hai???

➤ Superior margin of the pituitary gland is convex / elevated (2mm) with well defined rounded enhancing lesion (~9x7mm) in the central aspect of pituitary gland and the lesion is extending into the suprasellar region, not abutting the optic chiasm. Sir i have detected with 7×7×7 mm microadenoma and my prolactin level is 79 and i have severe headache? Camborgoline medicine are started but the headache is severe and i have headache at the time of observing something sir pls plz tell me what to do???

Hello Dr. 7years my mri result was prolactinoma 4.6mm with prolatin secreting 1500 in the blood after taking dostinex and after cabergoline for many years my prolactin level remain high mostly the same and the tumor grow to 6.4mm.now 5 months ago i tried bromocriptine (parlodel) changes starts but not much so i double the pills to 2 pills a day last week my prolactin level decreased to 359 should i stopp taking the medecine .knowing that still feeling headache and tired most of the time

I am 35 years old man. My prolactin levels stays above 50 and go upto 100 also. My testosterone level stay below limit always even though i do regular exercise. In initial 02 MRI reports, my pituitary was normal only. In recent MRI, they are saying likely to have microadenema but not sure. Carbelin 0.25 mg bring my prolactin level down but not the testosterone level up. Once i stop medicine both goes in abnormal conditions. Since last 14 years i am looking for solution but i am not. Sir can you please suggest anything

Hallo Dr. thank you so much for the informations. I have just a question about a case. A female patient 17 years old complaining of amenohrria since 3-4 years as well as polyuria and polydepsia and sometimes headaches. Her prolactin hormones are slightly elevated 1130 mIU/L, FSH and LH are zeros. A brain MRI shows Pituitary stalk thickness of 6,3mm and increased to 6,7 mm within 6 months. We did all possible blood tests and they were all normal. Please tell me what is your opinion and what should we do? Thank you so much in advance

@Health and Wellness,I've been diagnosed microadenoma(prolactinoma) last month,and the size is 0.5centimeter,and the doctor gave me a cabergoline good for 1 month,1 pill weekly,I want to know it is possible for shrinking the tumor?

Hello I just found this video… I was diagnosed with a macroadenoma but we are not sure if it’s a prolactinoma or not because the size of the tumor is 11mm and prolactin levels 100. I’m not sure if surgery it’s better or medication… Please help me figure this out. Thank you!

Had macro pituitary adenoma and had very successful excision of the tumor. Everything is back to normal, my sight and hormones are normal.
