As a kid my Mom used to take me to get pit beef for lunch, after shopping all morning at the framer's market. I miss those times.

I am a Baltimorian and crabs and pit beef are the best! The ' Canapy" was awesome in EC and Reistertown rd, and the pit ham was my favorite. Don't forget Polish Johnny hot dogs with the works!

Went to Chap’s 10 yrs ago on the recommendation of Bourdain and Bob was the guy who made my sandwich. Complimented my Buffalo State College shirt, saying one of his kids went there and one of his closest buddies did too. Oh, and the sandwich and fries were GOOOOOOOOOOD.

I had the "Rachael" sandwich the one time I was there. Hands down the best sandwich I ever had. I had to laugh when the only reference to what's on the property is the reference to the owner's parents' "nightclub." It's a strip club ;-)

I was blessed to grow up in Baltimore,and have had there beef for years.Sadly I no longer live there. But it is the best in town,hun!
