Published 2024-08-07
I had epic success at Goodwill! I filled 2 carts worth of vintage finds in one thrifting trip, then turned around and did it again the next day! Check out my haul!

  • The apple pie platter can be used as a water dish for birds outside. It is good for a little bird bath. Don't have to put a lot water in it. Great video.
  • You should keep the Noritake set! It looks so beautiful in your dinning room. You can always find a place to store it. Trust me when I tell you that you will always long for this if you sell it.
  • Absolutely must keep that Noritake dinner set. It matches your wallpaper!!! I love it!!!
  • I agree with everyone else that you should keep the Noritake set that you displayed on your dining room table. Such an elegant and beautiful set that works in your dining room so well. I think you will regret it if you let it go. I’m sure you could find a little nook to store it.

I just recently subscribed to your channel. My taste is a bit more rustic, shabby....but I LOVE dishes, so your channel is definitely a good choice for me. I am working on a mix n' match set of floral plates for Spring & Summer. My Fall/Winter is mix n' match transfer ware in browns & greens. So much fun. Anyway, i just wanted to say I am very much enjoying your channel. Definitely moved right into my "don't skip" list.

Those white with green flowers you call Crazy Daisy are Corelle Moss Green. I had those as my dishes for my apartment in the 70s (MCM) and my mother had the same for the rest of her life.
  • Always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing and taking us along. ♥️
  • That red with white Noritake dinner set is stunning and I envision it on a red damask tablecloth - and with the beautiful red and crystal dish sitting on your side table as a centerpiece - Gorgeous! And when something is THAT right - Yes, I really think you should keep it.
  • Have you ever heard of Museum Putty? It is a mounting putty used to keep things in place. You might need to use a lot depending on how strong your cats are!
  • You crack me up with the vacuum cleaner :) I love your house....I've passed by it countless times and have always admired it.

OMG 40:25 🤣😂🤣 was so funny! Kris, I adore your sense of humo
  • That particular plate of American limoges you said it was not real is priced at $19.99 at Replacements Ltd.
  • Great haul, the canisters are neat! There are two Agways left in CT, one in Ellington and the other in Plainfield.

Keep the Noritake set, perfect for Christmas!
  • I had similar canisters in copper when i first got married. KEEP the Nortaki china it is perfect for your dining room; or at least use it once for a dinner party. Glad to see you buying Nortaki china. They have so many beautiful patterns and such a variety of serving pieces. Love your crocheted tablecloth. Is it a family piece? So glad to have found your videos, love your format.😊

This is always my problem, too. I seem to be so excited that I miss those little chips on dishes. Even feeling around the edges still somehow misses damage at times. Ugh! But there have been times that dishes are wrapped, and the tape or plastic wrap conceals damage inside. I'm not bold enough enough to remove said tape and plastic wrap for damage inspection while still in the store. And if there is damage, what do I do, just leave the mess on the shelf? 😮
