I am sure the Author got the wrong impression that anybody could hang out with Kurt and feel comfortable. He didn't have not a single really close friends. Mark Lanegan and really few more. Courtney was his only friend I suppose, from his perspective at least. He was so hard on other people, as much as he was hard on himself. He was definitely anxious guy. Low on serotonin I guess. Hated people and hated stupid small talks. But he was exactly like he needed to be for us to have this story about the band, music, success, madness, end.. Everything he did including that suicide is exactly what makes this story so amazing and so monitored by millions of people even today, in 2022. I find the story about the Ramones amazing as well, maybe even crazier since they did maybe even harder thing starting with the music that actually didn't existed at that moment. And they lasted for 22 years always touring. Recomending the book by Johnny Ramone himself - "Commando" and one more by Monte Melnick "On the road with the Ramones". He was their band manager from day 1 to a very last day. Keep on punk in a fucked up world, and tu - du du lu - du..

Thanks for this! In my opinion, this is the best book on Nirvana❤️❤️❤️
  • I actually think that Molly’s Lips was my favorite . They were my favorite band back when I was in High School (All those centuries ago.).

20:42 Michael: "Kris has got great life." Interviewer: "That'sawesome." Like, "But he didn't kill himself, right?" No fun there, let's get back to Kurt.
