I am always amazed at how they take newbies out in such mental waters.... :O
-
I did this run yesterday and 3 rocks didn't disappoint. It was absolutely nuts and we had plenty of swimmers.

This was a rowdy day, I was there with American Adventure Expeditions. My heart is pounding out of my chest watching this. Too bad i'm not there right now, the water is up to 4600cfs this week.

you can be level whatever with years of experience, top rescue swimmer,, you can't stop nature from weeding out even the slightest weakness or stupidity, way it goes.
-
This is the granger family, nice video!

Real late ropes. Gotta be a bit easier on the lines, the only guides who know high water lines are the vets. Everyone else either has a vague idea or none at all. But seriously, upside the fucking boat over after you've flipped it. Lol the white helmet starts swimming it to shore bahahaha. Great video can't wait to check out this water. At a more relaxed water level of course.

I can put that on the bucket list of shit I will never do.

Where's this located at,,,i did the Gauley in w.virginia and it was wild,,,great time
-
Where do a lot of these people wind up who fall out of their boats?
-
I would like to attempt that with a canoe solo
-
Screw that
-
ropes are dangerous don't throw them unless someone is stuck in a hole

it's SAFER than it seems...here's the deal . If you fall out you cannot sink because of your life vest. You become a Bobber. where all you have to do to stay safe is to lay on your back and bring your knees up to your chest. use your arms to correct, and you will just float down the rapids ! Your legs are in position to repel or push off of any underwater bolders you may incounter until you get to a spot where the water is calmer so you can get back into the raft. If you adhere to the common sense rules of Rafting ...it's one of the best times you will have !!

I can't really feel sorry for any of these people.
