I knew this Betty as soon as I saw the first picture. What a beautiful, devoted mother and wife she has been. Your family is blessed to have such love and happiness. This disease is so horrible, especially for those (we) who are left behind. There will come a time when Betty loses the ability to communicate or even have a thought. Cherish these moments and the precious pictures.

Take those photos and place them on a coffee table, desk or dresser. Top them with a piece of glass. Then, she can go talk to them or stare at them whenever she wants too. Also want to say, that you are doing an amazing job. I know people really love your videos, but they forget, that it is like this all day long and everyday. Not just a 5 minute video. It takes special people to do what you are doing, and you will get rewarded for your patience someday in heaven. I know, because I once was one of those special people too! Beautiful pictures, Alzheimer's took all those wonderful years ahe had with her family. I have an Aunt who has it and my stepdad passed away from this disease. God bless you and your family.

I did a photo wall for my mother. And on the photo wall each photo had the name of the individual. And then we would talk about those photos together and it would make my mother smile.

Alzheimer's is what have taking most of my family. I have a great great aunt that has it right now. I just hate seeing it taking people away from their love ones.
