  • If Ben doesn't teach Sunday School somewhere every Sunday morning, the world I knoweth not.

I appreciated the moment of quiet :D It allows us to hear the engine and road noise.

Mazda needs to add a blue color option for this vehicle similar to the Camry XSE you reviewed.
  • Regular Premium is just a BETTER overall Value for the CX-70 . Plus Easier to keep clean that Tan must be a NIGHTMARE to maintain ! LOL !! Great review as usual Ben !!

Wow! That drive around the block really showed off the great handling of the CX-70.

Plus offers more than just nicer upholstery. 2025 Mazda CX-70 Premium Plus: $50,355 The Premium Plus builds off the Premium trim, adding a panoramic glass moonroof, power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, and windshield wiper de-icers. The Premium Plus cabin gains quilted Nappa leather upholstery, a 150-volt outlet, an 8-way power passenger seat, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and a few more premium interior upgrades like black or red piping on the mid panel. It also features ambient interior footwell lighting. The driver-assist package gains front cross-traffic detection with braking, a 360-degree monitor with “See Through View” and trailer-hitch view, rear automatic emergency braking, and a security system.

I love what Mazda is doing. I especially love that they are adding back larger engines when everyone else is downsizing. As the previous owner of a 22 3 Turbo hatch and current owner of a CX50 turbo, I wish (and I know this is picky) that they’d add more luxury touches such as ambient lighting or massaging seats. I know that would make the price go up more but it’s just not enough to keep my in the brand versus a Genesis or BMW. But I understand I am the minority here.

Mhev or phev which one is better in terms of performance nd fuel economy?? Any recommendations??
  • It would look better it the back was more flat or boxy instead of round. Still a very nice looking vehicle nonetheless.

I heard one of these caught fire on the parking lot of dodger stadium.

Too bad they put the engine in such a way that requires it to be dropped for usually non major maintenance causing huge labor costs when it’s off warranty.
