It’s pretty clear that Manchester United need attacking reinforcements. Ten Hag’s men have some of the worst attacking statistics in the Premier League this season and even when they finished 3rd last season, The Red Devils underperformed their xG by nearly 10 goals - the most of any team to finish in the top half of the table. To remedy this, Manchester United have been linked to a whole host of new talents, with Michael Olise the latest. So in this video, Statman Dave takes a look at his strengths and weaknesses; what he’s like as a player; before assessing whether the move makes sense…

Lets give Amad a chance before we decide any signing. The boy is a serious talent.
  • I think united should look at keeping the faith with Amad and giving him 6 months if he doesn't turn out well then look at Olise to Nico Williams
  • @directorme6669
If his character and attitude isn't right then it's a big pass... This should be a no brainer but United NEVER learn
  • @mahadasif2474
He's injury-prone, even if he has a proven quality when playing. However, a bit of scouting could easily discover hidden gems in other markets. On the other hand, we have solutions within. Amad is a serious baller, and then there's the option of moving Mount to play as a ramdeuter on the right where he flourished under Tuchel within the right channel. Not to mention a look into the future with the likes of Shea Lacey who looks like a real talent. (not mentioning utilising Antony because I very much doubt he has the quality)
  • Please Dave, who do you think is better between Javi Guerra and Lucas Bergvall both are similar to Bellingham in terms of style of play who do you think is closest to Bellingham and who is better
  • I will agree with you bro,we don't need him as said already have solutions to the problem Amad, Garnacho even Anthony still around they just need improvements .it's better to spend money on Young CB, DM and more experienced striker.
  • I agree with you to a certain point, but when you say we need more goalscorers on the wing, I can’t agree. We actually need more creators on the wing to create chances for the real goalscorer, Rasmus.

He wouldn't be cheap but I think Jarrod Bowen would be a great signing. A united fan too.

Frimpong would give us the option against bigger teams to play a CB at right back like Willy Kambwala at RB tucking inside like white at Arsenal and Frimpong at RM and be more defensively sold with a quick escape on both sides with Dalot or Shaw at LB and Frimpong in a RWB position to spring counter attacks.
  • Make a video about Mats Wieffer! Think he Will be perfect along side Mainoo in midfield
  • @briayne2660
i think you should provide content or stats of the new Ineos manchester united board ......... like Dan Ashworth, Paul Mitchell, Sir Dave Brailsford if they are fit for mufc

Manchester United should first change their set piece coach that alone will improve goals because they are getting 8 or more conner kicks every game but they struggle to convert them
  • @floki1715
I know its a bit out of topic, but do you think bruno can play as 8 and mount can play as 10. So we can have mainoo, bruno and mount as midfield trio. Would it be balance for the team?
  • @sonofzeus5551
My personal option this january would be bryan mbeumo to the right flank..dude is technically very good and puts in a real shift when he plays

I totally agree, Dave. United should recruit more of the raw talents out there. There are plenty of talents, for every position. I wish the new club structure will look into more of this. As you state, United can problaby buy new 3 to 6 upcoming talents in the summer and pay around 15 to 30 mill. in total. It should club policy that a certain amount of the transfer money should be to recuit talent. With the right scouting structure, the club will find new starts for small amounts, the risk is low compared to paying 70-90 mill. for one (1) player. A few searches on youtube showcases large number of talents. Just to name a few worth looking at are these players: Luciano Rodríguez, "The New Gem of South American Football" Riccardo Calafiori, "A Real Beast Defender" 17 Year Old Rodrigo Cezar, "The New Gem of Brazilian Football" Rokas Pukštas - "Talented and Versatile" Kevin - "The New Brazilian Showman" Charlie Patino - "Amazing Skills, Goals & Passing"
