Love the result. Freakin' awesome. And this vid is inspiring as heck. Thanks for sharing your journey. I'm still a Blender noob and ran into the same problems - so if I humbly may for those who might run into the same area of problems: - When you were texture painting and it was showing up on the nose as well it's because the nose was (i think) a different object but shared the same material/image texuter as the body. You would've had to make a new image texture for the nose and then - When you're modelling with the mirror modifier you can 'apply' the modifier (and basically any modifier) which then makes it so that any changes you make afterwards won't be affected by the mirror modifier. - There's a Blender add-on called Rigify that comes with Blender and is free and it's an awesome way to 'rig' a character to post them for a scene. There's also Auto Rig Pro however it is a paid add-on.

The most skilled blender user would never even claim to learn everything in blender in their life, nvm a week, Iā€™ve been using blender for 3 years now and have learnt so little of what there is. Best program give to people online for free
  • @SA-Brawl
This add on is a must have for every blender user itā€™s called power save itā€™s free you basically enable it before starting a project and if blender crashes, it auto saves

Hey there, that was fun. The reason for the paint going on the wrong places is due to the polygons sharing the same space on the UV map. An easy way to fix this is to go into edit mode select the whole mesh, press U then select Smart UV Unwrap. Hope you keep up your Blender journey, it's an awesome software

I love this, I spent almost all day today following tutorials on blender and I have learned so much but it is frustrating. You did awesome, keep it up
  • @openfolkuk
I started blender last night, already half frustrated, combining it with game dev and sound engineering for it. But this has given me hope. I hope we hear some tutorials soon? :D

  • This was so fun thank you for sharing xD I'm learning Blender myself and I laughed out loud at so many moments (especially modelling the people) haha
  • Bro that was a great work... i was going to begin learning 3d animation but watching some tutorials and works of some animators made me frustrated thinking that it will be hard.... but this video have encouraged me thank you so much
  • I loved the video! And it was thanks to you that I gave Blender a second chance. Ngl, I had a lot of fun this time and now it feels like I understand the program more than before. You won a sub, I appreciate you for encouraging me to take a step into the program!

Never thought I'd see a Swedish Sanji trying to learn Blender but here we are haha! This was really entertaining to watch. Reminds me of my struggles when I started to learn 3D modeling, although to be fair, you are a lot better than I was in the beginning šŸ˜†I better step up my game... Anyways, great video! ā¤

Truly thankful for sharing your experience in using blender and studied for only a week. I've been trying to learn it by myself, but I always feel unmotivated to do it. After seeing you able to learn and do it in just a week, I felt that I should be able to do it as well, as long as I commit myself to learning and doing it in a week productively. I hope I can be as good as you real soon šŸ™
  • @chinguchimp1357
Such a leap in just one week! Great final results! :D Oh and welcome to blender community everyone<3 There are many tutorials on YT and helpful free addons for blender. I know it can be hard and frustrating to learn blender sometimes, but don't give up. It is worth it! Long videos about how to start are great, but also small tutorials from YT shorts or on instagram helped me a ton. Start creating, even if it is just a pink cube!
  • Awesome challenge!! Thank you for sharing this with us all šŸ‘€ this def helped me understand how to try to take on blender and some sort of expectations to expect šŸ˜… thank you again!!
  • @1x5x7
Actually goated. I am an Indie game developer (for now) and haven't even dared to touch Blender yet. You inspired me to work on that.
  • @jamestwine958
Good work bro , excellent example of due diligence and motivation, structure and goals. The end results were fantastic. You should be very pleased. I enjoyed watching too, very inspiring

One day you'll be a master Blender'er . I'm also a beginner, learning blender from few months , i can feel how hard it is. But it's a fun when making your own idea into 3-D.
