Why Nobody Respects Joel Embiid

Joel Embiid has become one of the most unlikable players in all of basketball, and it all comes down to at least one of four reasons why. From dirty plays against opponents, endless flopping and foul baiting, lying to an entire country, and numerous times not taking any accountability but rather placing blame on others...

Can't respect a 300 pound man that throws himself and blame around like that
  • @Eline_Meijer
Embiid thinking he is smart is the dumbest thing he could have said
  • @jumaclo
Its wild that the president of an entire country personally hates an nba player😂
  • @Ric-E...Ricardo
Embid turning his back on Cameroon is the ultimate disrespect
  • @teflonjohn4018
I will never be a fan of a star that blames role players for losses. What you look like stayin injured then blaming other people.
  • crazy that this man has more flagrants than the one of the most notorious players of all time in half as many games

I understand foul bating as a 6'1 guard. It makes sense. You're small and have to use the tools God gave you to execute in a league full of giants and grown men. But I never, NEVER thought I'd see a 7 footer flop the way this man does. It's honestly ridiculous.

It's about time someone started compiling all of Embid's ridiculous flopping and dirty plays. If the league doesn't stop him, he'll end someone's career eventually. This is only an extremely small sample of what's an every game thing. That's getting worse. I hope you go deeper and just compile all of his antics on the court. It would be 100's of hours of b.s.

I love how Mase and Cam’s input are being validated as credible and sensible criticism. It diffuses the notion that ESPN and other networks are the “end all, be all” of sports analysts. Let’s be realistic. People that dislike great players don’t deny them of their abilities.
  • So why is he on team USA ???? That play when he dives into that players leg is crazy.
  • That play on Mitchell Robinson was not only dirty and dangerous, that was what many people call it "breaking the unwritten code".

I'm French and thinking he could've been our center is crazy. I hate this guy and his hypocrisy Thank God we got Wemby now

This guy is making the league look bad. Draymond Green’s situation is even worse, the guy shouldn’t be playing anymore and definitely not featuring tv shows as a commentator or commercials from the league’s major sponsor. Everybody can see what they do and when unethical behavior isn’t properly addressed, it’s as if the league’s endorsing these behaviors. And on top of that, Embiid is brought to play for team USA… Seems like team USA is kind of afraid of not being capable of winning on their own

That Draymond vs Embiid flagrant comparison is WILD. How does this man have more flagrants in half the number of games as a superstar? Everyone knows NBA refs give preferential treatment to stars but Embiid is still so dirty the refs have no choice but to call some of his fouls.

Wow I knew this was the narrative around Embiid, but had no idea the extremes he went to with flopping. Lost all respect for him

Watching this guy play in the playoffs this season, he instantly shot up as my least favorite player in the league. From the foul baiting to the dirty reckless abandon he plays with, it's downright terrible to watch as a product and also he's just a bad teammate. Unbearable and I can't believe any fan would want him on their team in spite of his talents based on the way he plays.
  • @CelticsIn5
No wonder bro always injured, the way he flops he throws himself to the ground hard as hell and he’s a big dude. Bigger they are harder they fall
  • @tommingzuo
Embiid is a crying baby that he purposely hurt Knicks players such as Mitchell Robinson and he still lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Knicks.
