I visited Phoenix palladium to see the modern and luxurious side of Mumbai that is often not shown to the outside world. I was surprised to see many designer shops and luxurious items on sale.

High Street Phoenix, formerly known as Phoenix Mall, is one of the largest shopping malls in India, situated in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Its gross floor area is 3,300,000 square feet. In addition to the mall, the compound hosts a five-star hotel, a multiplex, commercial space and a residential tower.

As far as i know India is beautiful country and people there is so generous as well as beautiful, Just like my country it's still developing but for sure one day Philippines and India will rise to the top, Philippines will rise again and claim our long lost title which is Tiger of Asia while India became the next Global Super Power along side Indonesia, Its Time for Asia to be known more in our World. ๐Ÿ˜Šโค๏ธ Greetings from Philippines ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ
  • Many people still seem to think that 99% of India is underdeveloped and in poverty, and while there is a huge wealth gap between people, and there are run down areas of poverty, there are many modern, developed areas too. I visited India for the first time about 3 years ago with my friends family and I was shocked then too at how modern the city was.

  • Having lived and worked in India for 9 years...India is very rich and dynamic...this mall is small compared to Dehli but there is some fantastic restaurants and bars where you are. India is badly misrepresented in western MSM

Disclaimer: Every foreigner coming to India and expecting only slums and poverty will surely get dissappointed.
  • @masterhind2036
The problem is international media outlets usually ignore modern areas and structures and deliberately telecast/show only the extremely poor parts. That's why a lot of Indians don't like news outlets like BBC, NYT, Washington Post.

All we know about India is slums and poverty. Its good to see modern India to bring more light in to the stigma. Thank you and keep up with the good work Harry!

Bro India was modern from the beginning, some poverty is everywhere, in every country even homeless too But West's perception is like this for India do you know Some country plundered 45 trillion dollars from india .. and nurtured their country's wealth even after looting so much wealth india has become one of the top 10 richest country of the world...
