I say they cooked because, HOLY S***, THIS LOOKS AWESOME. I do have some criticisms because although I love the trucks, the vibrant red really pops out, and the symbol looks great on him. I think the suit material looks a bit baggy on him in this shot, and I wish the blue was brighter; & I wish the suit didn't have a collar on it since Im not the biggest fan of the collar in the New 52 suit, but I can see myself growing onto it in time. Nevertheless, I am still INSANELY excited to see David Corenswet in the role and to see James Gunn's vision come to life! As for what's happening in the background,I have no idea WTF is happening outside!? It could be Brainiac's Skull Ship out of focus, maybe Mongul and his ship, aka Warworld or Solaris the Living Sun, since he was featured in the All-Star Superman comic, and James Gunn is taking inspiration from that story. At this point, it is too unclear.

Based off of a fan theory for the suit. Not only recontextualize the suit but makes it better imo. The theory essentially goes that superman has been weaken by the solaris in the movie and because of that not only does he have less muscle mass because of it. But the suit is baggier and he is tired and weak. Yet still chooses to put on the suit despite how it is incredibly dangerous for him to go out there in his condition. Which is also why his eyebrows are lighter

The more I look at the suit, the more I’m actually liking it. I think we will all grow on this suit one day and maybe even think that it’s on par with the man of steel suit. Don’t judge the suit by one picture because first of all, we didn’t even get to see the full extent of it, and second, we need to see it in action

I saw people praise the "tired" look of this Superman and thought it was hypocritical. Like, the last time Superman looked tired (Zack Snyder), it was panned and called "uninteresting".

I find it strange how the DCU is starting so late in the timeline. I mean for Batman we are starting with Damian as Robin. That means he’s been Batman for a while and I just find it odd not to do his more middle years with Jason Todd’s death and all

Why does this look like something out of a CW show?

I love this costume! It looks modern and youthful and feels strong but it also has all the essentials. To me it represents a hero in which the old ways merge with the new ones.

The suit gives me The Batman suit vibes where it looked kinda meh (to me at least) but when I saw it in the movie it looked amazing
