Came here after the news of Christopher Plummer’s passing today. His performance as Mike Wallace was my favorite from his long and illustrious career. RIP

This movie should be saved in national archives so that all future generations know what real news is, and what it has become in 2022. Great story.

Back here watching this for idk maybe the 20th time. To me this movie shows how beautiful the world is or can be if humans are guided by their better natures. Rather than accepting systemic or institutional priorities as a replacement for their "moral compass".

The acting in this film... man, as if each of the actors are all in a personal mission to outdo each other. They all deserve an Oscar.

One of Pacino's best performances, refreshingly understated. Love Russell Crowe and Christopher Plummer too. I saw this when it first came out and re-watched it last night. I was worried it wouldn't live up to my remembrances of it but it far exceeded my expectations. Cinematography and music were both exceptional.

Russell Crowe is a phenomenal actor, able to play sensitive, introverted personalities like no other. A wonderful movie about a pretty disgraceful topic, arranged in a gripping manner. A “must watch” !

Lisa Gerrard's score is so powerful as he leaves the court after the deposition. It depicts the bravery in the face of adversity, and the loneliness of his return to the family home.

Amazing performances from Crowe, Pacino and Plummer. Excellent movie! No action, sex or other garnishing added. Just a beautifully executed story. The satisfaction Crowe's character felt when his daughters watched the interview, the goodbye with no words between Bergman and Wallace at the end... exceptional stuff from immense actors.

The Insider is truly one of a kind. I have seen maybe hundreds of movies, but no movie has ever struck me the way this movie did. This movie is a masterpiece. The acting, the music, the storyline and the life lessons in it are just some of what makes this movie sublime. The way everything comes together is almost a dream, yet so real. I have seen this movie many times and it never fails to leave me speechless.

Standing your ground with news and stories above corporate policing, gosh, in a world today where most news is paid, this is a classic and must watch for journalists.

Man, such an amazing movie. Captivating from beginning to end. Russel Crowe's acting is exceptional. You can almost feel what he's thinking the whole time, how he struggles and keeps going on. Came with zero expectations and left with a masterpiece.

Sadly, our society, and particularly big media companies, have not learned the lessons taught by this epic film.
