Cheers! Yes, there's distortion on one of the clips, but that was only because the battery needed recharging. When it's fully charged, it has more voltage, so the amp pretty much distortion free at max vol. It's actually quite amazing, because it has so much PUNCH! As for it sounding like a subwoofer... it actually IS a subwoofer ;) you'll see what I mean in the buildlog.

You, sir, make amazing minimalistic retro-style devices, and they actually remind me of Star Trek. I really love when something has a simple purpose and minimal controls and just works great. I think I'm going to build something alike.
