When you started mentioning the ships, I realized I heard variations on this story before. São Miguel in the Azores went from an unassuming island in the Atlantics to a drug dealers shipping harbour after a shipwreck.

I’m 6+ years sober now from an intense speedball addiction. one time back in the day I found a baggie of coke in an alley and I actually injected it. it seemed awesome at the time (free drugs — so lucky!) but I am def glad those dark days are behind me haha

I don't get it, what about coke would make you vomit for an hour? I consumed my fair share in my younger years and apart from gagging from a half gram drip coke never made me puke even once?
