This is the first video I’ve seen from you. Just started playing this year. And I’ve watched form videos for over a month now. This is probably the easiest explanation of this form I’ve seen. Cannot wait to test it on Saturday when I go play with my son. (Also just picked up the sport) I’ll come back and comment the results. PR (2014 Heat Ace Race prototype) 252

This is a refreshing video. A lot of people just copy and paste tips. I’m not a “beginner” and feel like I could take something from this. Good stuff man keep it up
  • Great video and explanation! I’ve felt something like this and seen similar videos but this clarified it visually for me a little better. Going to try it today!

This should be re titled. It may help with spin, but as a newer player really struggling to figure out back hand power, this video appears to be a game changer for me. I’ve been playing 2 years, last year I played forehand only and I’ve gotten quite well with it. This year, I made a plan to figure out how to throw backhand. I’ve watched all of the videos, ALL OF THEM! I’ve made improvements to my form and power, but I think 235 feet was my max distance. I stumbled upon this video late last night, I thought about it through the day and couldn’t wait to get home today to try it. I threw 5 stand still throws using your 90 degree elbow advice. I threw 5 discs without moving my body at all, just arms and it sucked. I threw 5 more allowing my body to rotate, and I was shocked at the distance I was getting with such little effort. I then added my walk up and X step and I ripped 3 of my 5 discs over 300 feet for the first time in my life! My new max distance is 311 feet now.! This was only with about 30 minutes of practice and about 25 throws. Than you so much for this tip, it appears to have answered so many questions for me. It really just taught me how my arm movement should be. Awesome advice!

I’m definitely going to try this. New to disc golf and I’m 57 with a worn out baseball shoulder but I’m not giving up lol

This helped me a ton. My throws are coming out with lots more spin and I am hitting my lines and angles a lot cleaner and more consistently.

Dude. You have amazing form and inner core strength. I like how your “arming” it as one coach put it. You made 300+ feet look so easy. Great video. Thanks for making it. !

I started a “out in out” backhand throw this year and it really helped with consistent hit point and release. Saved a lot of strokes in the woods.
  • Definitely going to be trying the 8 to in to 10 this Sunday to see how it works for me🙌🏼
  • @TheLeifington
Really like what you touched on here! It makes a lot of sense to me

One of my favorite shirts. Great video too btw!

Best example of this on the Pro Tour (IMO) is Ezra Robinson. That dude nails your “8 in, back to 10” philosophy phrase on a high level.
  • @GeorgeArthurJr
I subscribed instantly just because of your ridiculous stretching warm up routine. It's hilarious and I love it. Loving this guy. Keep it up my good man. The genuine amusement at the catchy jingle is one of my favorite things I've seen on YouTube. If you're ever in the Houston area, let's get in a round! 8 IN BACK TO 10 BABY!!
  • Great Video! I never separated spin and speed. Anxious to give it a try and love the rhyme:)
