In this video, I will give you the rundown on the history of the Na’vi, Anatomy and Physiology 101, the religion of Eywa, language, culture, structure of the clans and way of life. Including stuff like Dream Hunt and Songcords. The video will also be a guide to their habitat on the moon Pandora, specifically stuff about the Great Rainforest, also known as Na’ring. Looking into places like The Tree of Souls, The Tree of Voices and Hometree.

I explain the Na’vi’s conflict with the humans, or sky people, pre-war and during the war of 2154. Which also means we’ll be talking about the other clans on Pandora; like the Omatikaya Clan (Blue Flute Clan), Tayrangi clan, Olangi clan, Anurai clan, Olangi clan, Tawkami clan, Kekunan clan, and Tipani clan. The history of the Avatar program led by Grace Augustine will answer questions like “What happened to Neytiri’s sister?”

This video also goes in-depth about unobtainium; a highly valuable rare superconducting compound that fuels Earth’s economy in the year 2154. This compound adds reasoning as to why the RDA corporation is there and why that superconducting compound is essential to the global network on Pandora.

I use deleted scenes and different interviews with the cast & crew to supply you with more details that were left out of Avatar (2009). Like Dr. Max Patel leading the Rogue One Avatar drivers during their take over of the RDA settlement or other rituals like “Dream Hunt”.

Along the way, I react to stuff, as well as show you Hidden Details, Things You Missed and Easter eggs.

I always found weird that Avatar has this huge universe and lore, but no fanbase, you don't see people wanting to talk about the universe, create theories, create characters for this universe, etc

All these years I thought Tsu’Tey was jealous, whole time he was still heartbroken over Neytiri’s sister’s death.
  • It’s such a shame that so much world-building and lore got cut out in favor of more animal and gunship battles. I knew 95% of what you talked about already because I was enthralled with this world when the movie first came out, so I bought companion books, played video games, and watched the extended cut (and the deleted scenes) when I got the Blu-ray…but very few others did. I think a lot more people would appreciate the detail and work that went into creating this planet system, culture, and biology if there was more in the actual film that people didn’t have to go searching for. I’m so glad the sequels are FINALLY starting to get released.
  • Idk if this was mentioned or not, but the Na'vi have very sweet sleep rituals as well. For example, everyone sleeps together in a cluster of hammocks, if one family member is off by themselves, someone will come to check on them, because its seen as abnormal. Also when a hammock is used up and needs to be replaced, they hold a ceramony where the bed is burned and celebrated, and then the whole tribe come together for about a week or longer, to handmake a new one :) they are a very strong bonding tool
  • Omg they should’ve explained what happened to Neytiri’s sister! It adds so much to the plot and storyline

I’d like to see desert na’vi. I imagine them being dressed similar to tusken raiders.
  • @doodlerom
If they adapted the series into a book series, I'd be so down to read them!

I have watched Avatar 50 times and I am amazed every time. Each time I notice something new, but I did not know about T'sutey's story. Now it makes sense why it seemed that Neytiri and T'sutey were not happy about becoming a couple. I immediately looked for the director's extended blu-ray version when it came out and it adds so much depth to the story!
  • Honestly, i wouldnt have minded if the movie turned out to be 3.5+ hours or more. I watch the extended addition and still want more after the credits roll. I'd love to see an anniversary release that features all the deleted scenes finished and put into the final cut

So Eywa is Natural Internet while each Na'vi is a computer with unique Ip address. And big lighted trees are servers while underground roots are optical fibres. That's why they have same language like people on internet have English(I know there are other reasons for that).

We need James Cameron to make a whole documentary on Pandora and the complexity of this world
  • @justafan5179
Awesome video! Cool thing about Unobtanium, is that Cameron said he chose that name, because Unobtanium is actually a real classification of unknown substances... so what you have in Avatar... is a rock, that the humanity hasn't even bothered to name or classify, but the covet it enough to blindly wipe out whatever get in their way... all in the name of basically an idea.
  • I had no idea about Neytiri's sister :o I am shocked! That's a detail that makes the scene where they destroy the tree of voices evn more tragic... And making the movie even better! I really hope we learn about this in the future movies!
  • @Klehan
The 'your mom' joke caught me off guard😂 Awesome video, btw! I really wish all those scenes weren't deleted; they would've added more weight and explaination to the story overall. I'm really excited for the next movie.
  • I never knew about the deleted scenes you showed. It gave me a new appreciation for the little weasel that wanted the unobtanium. I'm so glad I watched this video! Can't wait to see what you put up after the next film.
  • Them having a rule about not using wheels, mining, or laying “stone upon stone” means they once used to do/ have these things and it went bad. That’s very interesting to learn. Maybe that’s why they all have a universal language. Maybe they used to be as advanced as humans and had a common language like we have English that most people knew and their advanced society went bad so they all decided to live like hunter and gatherers again?
  • I can't help but wonder what kind of Na'vi Clans & Animals would be living in the Wetlands, Oceans, Coniferous Forests or Great Plains
  • @alwaysdead89
The lore, the aesthetics, whole ass language and small things like the Lorax - it's a mind blowing movie. I hope the new one isn't as bad as everyone is saying, but I imagine it's great, people are so entitled these days and will never be happy with anything. Can't wait to see it.
  • It was so sad when the tree of voices was destroyed and knowing that they were gonna bomb the tree of souls was horrible because of how precious it was I hope Neytiri can still connect with her sister with other trees and same for Tsu'tey
