So far this is the BEST tutorial I have seen for French beginners in YouTube. The Best!!! It does not "baby" and challenges you to try to listen hard and see if you can understand very common phrases. I love the challenge and I love the complexity!!!!

For beginners giving a loose translation rather than word for word gets in the way of learning the written language.

Perfect! I have been learning a little bit at a time for twenty years. This is like after studying Spanish from books for ten years and my communication was poor, then I went to Mexico for two months and I returned to the States speaking with total comprehension! Awesome!

This is a great learning resource. The pace is good for this beginner and, yet, pushes me. I like the repetition in French only to listen and try to translate and repeat before the answer appears.

Great method all around! Good speed, clear words. .I like the fact that it gives you a chance to see if you understand what they are saying and then posting translation while repeating the pronunciation. Thank you!
