So far this is the BEST tutorial I have seen for French beginners in YouTube. The Best!!! It does not "baby" and challenges you to try to listen hard and see if you can understand very common phrases. I love the challenge and I love the complexity!!!!

For beginners giving a loose translation rather than word for word gets in the way of learning the written language.

Perfect! I have been learning a little bit at a time for twenty years. This is like after studying Spanish from books for ten years and my communication was poor, then I went to Mexico for two months and I returned to the States speaking with total comprehension! Awesome!
  • I think my listening has improved over the course of this tutorial. Like, I can pick out more stuff as I progress. Does anyone else feel the same way? Merci beacoup!

This is a great learning resource. The pace is good for this beginner and, yet, pushes me. I like the repetition in French only to listen and try to translate and repeat before the answer appears.

I love it, thanks. It's reality. This is how fast you speak English as a native speaker, it just sounds fast to you.
  • This is great, has the written sentence along with translation and gives you enough time to take everything in. Thank you!
  • @alisonurfe1119

finally something prety straightforward for learning French
  • @Mixco9
Great method all around! Good speed, clear words. .I like the fact that it gives you a chance to see if you understand what they are saying and then posting translation while repeating the pronunciation. Thank you!

I am an intermediate learner and this is very useful for me after doing much class work and reading mostly. This is like the missing link to the speaking which is my main aim. Merci beaucoup

I enjoy it as a listening practice to help me recall some of the expressions that I have learned about the French language.
  • @WINCHANDLE
This is great. My biggest hurdle will be understanding the spoken french.
  • Just wonderful, I liked it and I'm already subscribed. You've got a new fan.

Elle parle rapidement ici mais ça nous donne une opportunité d'écouter le vrai accent français avec une vitesse rapide.. Faites les vidéos pour le niveau avancé aussi...cela nous aidera.. merci
