Supplements | iSatori BioGro Side Effect and Cautionary Tale

Published 2015-12-16
In this video, I describe how BioGro, a supplement made by iSatori, appeared to cause in increase in my serum iron levels.

I also describe how BioGro packages and advertises its product, with a distinct "more is better" message. I bought into this messaging and the results were potentially dangerous.

BioGro was an extremely hot subject a year or so ago. Since then, it has calmed down in the Tubeisphere, but I still wanted to make this video so that people who are thinking about trying BioGro will know that, though it may be effective and seemingly "natural," it is not harmless.

It is not my intention to bash iSatori. I'm just saying, BioGro and iron need to be discussed.

I got you brother. I have had any problems with too much iron showing up on my blood work and I've been using its stack version ( Bio gro, pre gro and hyper gro) for about a year. I've used the recommended dosage according to my weight and it has been amazing for me personally and it's definitely not a placebo effect either. I hope that the situation with the problem you had got better.

What was your iron level BEFORE. If you donate blood every few months, you will decrease your iron stores. BG is not "just colostrum", but it is modified. It sped up recovery like nothing else I ever used .

Read the instructions. It clearly states to take twice a day not 3 or 4 times a day. Too much of anything can be bad for you.

If I take this 2 scoops a day will it still give me side effects

I have never tried this product but have wanted to try it. Do to the fact that I am a female and have a loss of iron monthly.... If this would help during that time. But I am supper sensitive to any products so I am sure it would depend on the person. Maybe one day I will try this stuff. :)
