  • Ms Honey: Mr Wormwood, if you think watching some rotten tv show is more important than your daughter, then maybe you shouldn't be a parent. Now why don't you turn that darn thing off and listen to me. Us: Solid burn, Ms Honey.
  • @kurthalover
"You chose books, I chose looks" Sorry Mrs. Wormwood, but Ms. Honey has the face of an angel!

1:02 Mikey: "Want one?" Ms. Honey: "Oh... No thank you, dear." She's so kind, even to Mikey. Just shows how wonderful her character is.
  • @LilyZerep
At least Mikey was nice enough to offer Miss. Honey a beer.

I got to admit Danny de Vito did a great job acting, narrating and directing in this film.
  • "What car? Sued by who? Who've been talking too?" Danny Devito's delivery is hilarious šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
  • @DMVAUDITS
Always wanted a teacher like Ms. Honey
  • "Why don't you turn... that darn thing off and listen to me?" THIS is the kind of mother Matilda deserved in the end! Miss Honey is pretty, kind, and so pure that she wouldn't cuss even when she secretly really wanted to! Thank God they both got a happy ending together!

If the wife chose looks, shouldn't she actually look good??
  • I choose Miss Honey over Mrs. Wormwood any day of my life. Books are far more important.
  • 1:20 "A girl does not get anywhere by acting intelligent." Anyone who is college-educated is not acting intelligent, but being intelligent. Trust me there is a difference. -Acting intelligent is basically thinking that you are smart, but not really. Above all, they think that they are so smart that they are above everything else. -Being intelligent is using you smarts and skills to educate people. Take Miss Honey for instance.

Only time I saw the brother being generous

I love when Ms. Honey has had enough of their BS and tells them off. YOU GO GIRL! šŸ‘šŸ¼
  • @endersdragon34
More and more I think people need to watch this scene... the anti-intellectual bias in this country is starting to go crazy.
  • The sad thing is that this scene is an accurate reflection of many parents today, some of the genuinely couldn't care and about their children's future.
  • @RegularInvader
The Warmwoods should have been grateful that Ms. Honey didn't contact CPS.
