"Why don't you turn... that darn thing off and listen to me?" THIS is the kind of mother Matilda deserved in the end! Miss Honey is pretty, kind, and so pure that she wouldn't cuss even when she secretly really wanted to! Thank God they both got a happy ending together!

1:20 "A girl does not get anywhere by acting intelligent." Anyone who is college-educated is not acting intelligent, but being intelligent. Trust me there is a difference. -Acting intelligent is basically thinking that you are smart, but not really. Above all, they think that they are so smart that they are above everything else. -Being intelligent is using you smarts and skills to educate people. Take Miss Honey for instance.

The sad thing is that this scene is an accurate reflection of many parents today, some of the genuinely couldn't care and about their children's future.
