In the last century, humans created the greatest gift in history: an extra 30 years of life. However, with it came the unprecedented rise in age-related diseases, which turn "living longer" into "painfully existing for longer". How to close the healthspan-lifespan gap? Dominika Wilczok explores the topic from cutting-edge advances in geroscience, AI-driven longevity medicine, and longevity lifestyle interventions. Dominika Wilczok is a Behavioral Neuroscientist in training and sophomore undergraduate student at Duke Kunshan University. She is focused on biohacking ageism: looking not only at how we can live a long life, but also a healthy and happy one. She aims to bring the principles of healthy longevity to everyone. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
