Great comments from Gerry in his opening monologue. the Stomers union needed the win last year and similarly the Munsters side this year. Deservable winners. if the pitch was top notch this match-up could have been as big as the HCC final. Next year the SA teams will travel much less up north with mini-tours. this will better the SA teams changes to win away in europe as tours build comradary between players

There's SO much history in Munster rugby. So much bye in, with not just the team.. players & family.. coaches and staff.. kit men.. cleaners.. ball boys.. cooks.. bar staff.. every last person who goes the extra mile... and who believes.. The history of Munster Rugby.. The only province team to beat the ABs... There's So much there... That's where it started.. Then there's the legendary fans.. Munster were the standard bearer's... Leinster deservedly took over. A fantastic team and deserve everything they have.. Brilliant players with their province and Ireland. Well done to Munster and their fantastic win in South Africa. Leinster fan here . Congratulations to a great Munster win. Hopefully Leinster will pay the competition full respect in 2024 . Not taking away from my congratulations to Munster. Fully deserved win. Also, John Dobson has done a great job with Stormers and Cape Town has really taken to the competition. Also , Fekitoa has been the star of Munster rugby and can’t understand why Munster is letting him go.
