I go solo camping in a cabin tent by pomoly and show the footage of the police that were called on me. I also get a fire going and cookup some US Military Rations.

  • The funny thing about becoming interested in camping, is realizing how hard it is to actually be alone in nature.
  • *Ring ring…hello, police? I just witnessed somebody doing something perfectly legal on land that they own. I need you to put a stop to it.
  • I had similar experience when I bought my little wood. I was reported to the council for unlawful camping. Again did me a favour as I rang the council, explaining what I was doing and got a great response. Some people just don't like anyone having fun or peace. Happy days
  • Shame on people bashing you for eating MRE's. Buzz off and just watch the video and enjoy what this man does to entertain us.
  • @jammer2isme
I'm in Texas. If someone saw me go walking into the woods WITHOUT a firearm, I wouldn't be shocked if they asked if I needed one to borrow.
  • @Rider3322
Bet that felt good, telling them that you owned that Woodland 🙂
  • @taxalterror
It looks like a townie that's moved into your area, it's full of them where I live now! :(
  • @Garryck-1
That tip, of building the fire on top of two crossed sticks, is absolute gold! Thank you!
  • @cthobby
On the MREs, you don't have to apologise for doing something you enjoy man. There's always going to be people complaining, do and make the content you enjoy. It's cool.
  • @Hepad_
OI ! You got a loicense for these burnt sausages ?!
  • @njones2061
I liked hearing your dad at the end of the clip “do you want cheese on this” 😂
  • @locklear2478
Mike, you were supposed to put the rice and beans in with the beef into the tortilla. They were a package deal. 😂 No worries, brother. I just stumbled onto your channel, and I’m enjoying it.
  • I don't know why people moan about using the food packs, this isn't a cooking channel... just do what you want or need to. keep it up ...love the channel
  • @paulb5924
That was a really interesting example of interaction with the local constabulary, Mike. No drama, just matter-of-fact. But the person who reported it must have been a little skittish to have done so. Not as if you and your dad had gone all tactical. Although I'd like to see your dad crawling around the woods 😂
  • @NeilStansbury
Yeah 100% fair play, the lead officer was polite, courteous, friendly and very reasonable. Exactly how local Coppers should be, good for them.
  • I actually enjoyed watching you prepare the MRE as we all know how to fry a few bangers and onions. Look forward to seeing a few more like that, the tent looked impressive and well thought out as well. Good to see the British cops are still friendly and polite dealing with the public rather than escalating it unnecessarily before they work out the situation. Great video.

I was in the US Military for a very long time. So far the one that I've found was the best MRE for my taste at least. Was Menu #9 Beef Stew. You can eat that cold with out heating up using the ration pack it actually tastes quite good. Would suggest giving that one a go.
  • Police visits are always disconcerting even when you're doing everything by the book. I'm glad they were cordial. I really enjoy your content
  • @danzykam6545
I don’t care what you eat. I’m here for the show. The fireside chats. The building. Grab what you can on the way out the house !
  • I’ve had a rough day today and this video really helped my brain just go quiet. Think I’ve found a new comfort channel, thanks :)
