Tom accusing Arun of panicking and running in a random direction while running to a place that doesn't exist anymore is brilliant.

My girlfriend and I randomly saw Tom Scott sprint past us at full speed on a date night. It makes 10x more sense now

"Im being chased!" Arun considers what hes just said for half a second "For a contest! Im safe I promise!" That had me cracking up, the poor clerk mustve been very concerned for that moment

I really like how Arun tried to mimic a statue of someone sitting on a stump, right next to a stump, but didn't sit on the stump to mimic it. It is amazing what we can miss when we're in panic mode.

Honestly, we need a weekly episode of Arun & Tom trying to find each other with airtags in random cities across the globe. I'll cancel my Netflix for that.

It would be interesting to see a version where they can both track each other and can catch each other at any time, but whoever has the most points when they meet wins the task, so they have to gamble that they're in the lead when they start trying to find each other

What I find very entertaining is how Tom, who is usually quite logical and good with strategy, did not stop to think that Arun might be in one of the shops ( when his location indicated he was somewhere and Tom couldn't see him), given what the task list was.

I'd love a Round 3 where you're not allowed to turn data off on your phone. More pings to keep the seeker up to date would make this more intense.

Props to the camera operators for being so fit to follow you around a city with such heavy and cumbersome gear

Being from Nottingham, this was just an absolute blast. As soon as he said "I'm going to Broadmarsh" I felt so sorry for him

I love that Tom Scott is running by populated little stands and shops shouting things like "that was four minutes ago!" in a very stressed voice and then running off, only to run by in the opposite direction a few minutes later. I have to wonder if anyone got a chuckle out of that.

Tom feels like a Wes Anderson character in this one Eloquent and clever, but constantly confused, and just starts deadsprinting off camera at the drop of a hat

As someone from Nottingham, the "broadmarsh is gone" moment made me die laughing.

So this feels like Tom's open application for "Jet-Lag the game"

The two camera ops seeing each other and having to keep their mouths shut... priceless and YIKES that must have been hard. I'm seconding another's idea of them doing this again but they're both tagged and having to find each other AND complete tasks. Maybe more tasks that include interacting with other humans that might be able to rat you out... like, "Ask a barista they're favorite drink to make, get a selfie, and leave a nice tip" or "visit a dog park and get a selfie with a doggo"... definitely love the "change an article of clothing" one because that also involves interacting with a human who might rat you out. This is seriously fun to watch and Arun is REALLY good at this. I think Tom's adrenaline gets pumping so much, his logic side sort of short circuits. I think with more practice, he'll do better.
