This has to be one of the most wild and crazy comebacks on Monday Night Football I have ever seen. Peyton Manning orchestrated his genius in the 4th quarter quite like Albert Einstein

Vanderjagt tried his hardest to choke this game away. He was easily the biggest choke artist on that Colts team.

This game ended soooooo late at night when I watched it back in 2003. Shout out to when Monday night football used to start after 9 pm on the east coast.
  • Tony Dungy: We're down like 21 points with 5 mins left. Think it's time to put in the backups. Brad Pyatt: Has a 90 yard kick off return Tony Dungy: Well since we're already in the red zone, might as well give it one more try.

This is one of my favorite memories as a kid. My dad wanted me to go to bed but let me stay up and I was so tired at school the next day but it was one of the best games I’ve ever watched. This the 06’ AFC Championship Game and any of Cardinals Packers playoff games

Gotta love the Dungy element: returning to face the team he built into a defensive powerhouse and the coach who won a Super Bowl with it immediately after he got booted.
  • I went to bed with the Bucs up 35-14. Woke up the next morning and dad told to me the Colts came back and won. I couldn't believe it.

Mad respect for Dallas Clark rocking number 44 as a tight end. A lot of people didn’t know tight ends could pick numbers in the 40s
  • Fun fact: Michael Pittman, the Bucs running back, is the father of Michael Pittmann Jr, current Colts wide receiver.
  • @merakki
Man the NFL was fun to watch back then.

    Gruden's facial expressions are hilarious.

Some people don't know the history here, but Tony Dungy (during this game head coach of the colts) was previously head coach of Tampa Bay and turned a franchise that had 13 consecutive losing seasons into a franchise that had more wins than loses for 6 consecutive years with multiple playoff appearances. However the owner of the Bucs was not satisfied as Tampa had not yet won a superbowl and fired Tony Dungy in 2002 (Dungy stated he just needed time to put all of the pieces together). Which was the first time a head coach with a winning record was ever forced out of that franchise. Then, the very next year a new head coach won the superbowl with the team that dungy built (The head coach was Jon Gruden, who you see in the video). There is a huge debate if the superbowl win was due to the head coach change or the team did in fact just need more time to find their rhythm in the post season (as Dungy stated). While Tampa Bay only made 2 additional playoff appearances during the new head coaches tenure, the colts became a national brand and Dungy surpassed Don Shula with more franchise win than any other head coach.

That was an insane game on all levels of the ball, the 2 onside kicks an int fumble recovery for td and monster offensive show by both teams. Its a 10

It’s just funny as hell to hear Keyshawn talking shit about Marvin Harrison! Especially now, when we know Marvin as a HOFer and Keyshawn won’t EVER get in!
  • Gruden reached that point of anger where you don’t even express it anymore. Any minute he was going to explode.
  • Buccaneers: We’re leading by 21. We got this. Peyton Manning: Imma bout to end this man’s whole career.
