  • "He stole john wicks car and killed his dog." "Oh." My man straight knew death was coming
  • @ryanm.191
Apparently during filming it was hard to get the dog to lie down with John because it was excited from doing a such a good job and kept breaking character and licking keanus face

“He wasn’t exactly the boogeyman. He was the one you sent to kill the fucking boogeyman.” Chills. Just pure chills man.

2:28 Love how in this scene he’s like: “Why did you hit my son before I kill you?” And after he’s like: “Understandable have a great day”
  • @OfficerDok1996
What's cool is that usually in movies like this the main character's trying to escape the organised gang but in John Wick the organised gang's trying to escape the main character

Wick doesn't have unlimited ammo, he just has enough ammo
  • @iinr_guest001
Fun fact: the training Keanu has gotten from all his action movies has actually made him better than some of the best trained servicemen at things like reloading and aiming with iron sights

I just found out something interesting about the scene when John sneaks up on the bouncer played by Kevin Nash. He asks the bouncer how much weight he lost and according to Nash at a convention, he says he lost 60 pounds, but the director told Nash, that when he said that, he was actually telling Wick how many people were in the club and that is why John Wick spared him.

Fantastic movie all around, but that "oh" from Viggo will always be my favorite part. It's rare for so much to be said with so little.
  • Movie: kills human Audience: “Eh.” Movie: kills dog Audience: war screaming edit: the fact I still get notifications on this is bonkers. it’s been five years fellas wth
  • @DennGreenIII
You left out one of the most impactful scenes that illustrates just how dangerous and effective John wick really is. When Viggos son is killed, he gets a phone call. The audience knows that the call is to inform viggo that his son was slain, but Viggo doesn't need the call, he already knows because it's John fucking wick. Without hearing the caller say anything, Viggo tells the other person "I'll make the arrangements." John wick is so effective that this man knew his son was dead before it was even confirmed.

You forgot a big thing: The coins Each coin is personalized for the individual assassin, so it's like hitman baseball cards. They can be just a coin, but they also can carry a lot of value depending on the circles they are in. The level of detail in this movie is insane :3

"You killed John Wicks dog and stole his car" Viggo: chuckles Im in danger
  • @trendrekt8363
The writer for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Hirohiko Araki, said that the fastest way to get people to hate a villain is to have said villain to kill a dog. And by God he's right.
  • @hypnochan
"The lack of hollywood beauty somehow makes it more beautiful." THAT RIGHT THERE. It's why I love the entire series of movies. The brutal is brutal and just so unnervingly real in it's execution.
  • I love that viggo didnt know what the dog meant to John but instantly realizes crossing him in any way shape or form results in death, which implies that before he retired john was truly someone terrefying that if you hurt in some way your chances of living were zero, but then Viggo hears john say why the puppy meant so much to him and he realizes why John didn't care why he fought so hard
  • @MrSwiftNic
"YOU CAN EITHER HAND OVER YOUR SON, OR YOU CAN DIE SCREAMING ALONG SIDE HIM!" +10 for that line from Keanu
  • @nateculver7050
The reason that the assassins wear suits is because a suit never looks out of place. Whether you're in a fast-food joint or 5 star restaurant, coffee shop or opera, unemployment line or penthouse gala, you can find someone in a suit, and they look like they belong. It's the ultimate disguise for hiding in plain sight.
  • This movie did not have william Da”FOE”, it had William Da”Friend”

I think I remember hearing from someone that when Marcus shot the pillow next to John in the continental scene wasn’t a mistake. Marcus shot at John, not to kill him, but to warn him, get him on edge and ready for when the woman snuck into his room to attempt to kill him. Marcus wasn’t trying to kill John, he was watching over him kind of like a sniper guardian angel
