Why people think Armanz will DESTROY RAID Shadow Legends

I was concerned that Wu Kong was too OP, but at least everyone had access to him. This makes Wu Kong look like a flea on Godzilla. As far as saying this will help new players catch up, that is only true if they can get them. The fusions are getting more and more financially and time demanding. I've lost a couple fusions in the last few months after spending over $100 on shards to not be able to get enough points on dungeon divers after grinding the top levels for other dungeon events. It's frustrating to spend 10 hours online 4 days in a row and lose a fusion because I need to work three twelve hour days and there is no mercy or extra fusion shards.

I think the big thing you are overlooking (unintentionally I’m sure) is that the “newer” players that everyone is using to defend him being broken, are the exact players who WONT be able to get him. I’ve been a pretty hardcore player for over 3.5 years now (used to spend occasionally, but stopped over 1 year ago), Ramantu done probably 1.5 years ago, Mithrala 2 years ago, Lydia 2.5 years ago (Can do most content comfortably even with abysmal luck summoning, closest thing to meta pull was Candraphon), yet even I cannot compete in arena, can’t reasonably do sand devil, shogun, or sintranos due to such a high “requirement” of specific champions/skills. Even for me, Ankora fragment event was a complete resource depletion (And I ONLY use resources when it’s needed, I don’t just blow them), so anyone with a less developed account will have no chance of earning him. It’s not just about “oh seer does it faster so he isn’t a problem”, it is the fact that he can COMPLETELY lock out enemies (which will also destroy arena even more than it already is, by adding even more absurd bullshit to the mix) meaning that future content will be “balanced” to accommodate him, meaning Plarium will just be giving a big “Fuck you for not spending enough” to everyone who cannot get him, and as a result cannot replicate his “effectiveness” (brokenness). Remember this is ONE champion doing it all, NOT seer plus enabler (buffers) plus cooldown refresher, it is JUST HIM.

Armanz not going to get nerf while the Fusion is running. If he gets nerf it will be after the Fusion. Plarium needs to make their money first.

I feel, even if they added an additional turn to the cooldown to his A2, Armanz would still be pretty OP, but at least it would give the other team a chance a small opening to get a turn. As it is now, he really does seem to be complete lockdown of the other team if built right.

At least there's no waves with 2 Motu-makab or 2 siphi & rotos. Could you imagine if Plarium did that? Uhhh At what level do you think a newish player is going to be able to complete a hybrid fusion. I don't think this fusion is going to help anyone catch-up

I won't have the resources to get him but I'm going to participate in some of the events just for rewards

Doom Tower hard waves are a hard part of the game the higher you climb. I'm not talking about the boss fights. I am at a stage where I can not auto battle most floors above 10 - but I have to mix and match some of my champs. And for me, I find that fun. All of a sudden there is a maneater and I have to bring in sun wu kong to strip the buffs and block buffs, or use deliana for a block debuffs, or serris for buff strip - or if i am going in for a longer fight I have to block debuffs, heals and revives ... this would just make one guy just take over ... and it really gives people who are on the verge of quitting the game more reason to quit imo ... because you know a few months down the line they will bring out a champ who counters him and will break the game even more

I think raid intentionally put out this champion to make old content easy so players can get past it and focus on soul cross.

Not gonna lie…the “catchup mechanic” viewpoint is a solid take I didn’t even think of I personally only have a problem with adding more polymorph into the game considering it’s still not quite what the community want from the debuff

Nah they dont need to nerf him only make the sheep debuff 50 percent and put one more debuff thats 100 percent like decreas speed

for either of my 2 F2P accts, it isn't about resources anymore, after 3 yrs of Raiding but it is about the TIME SPENT in this game that is making me hesitate to go for any fusions (or other similiar over time long events). for this event: a nerf is incoming, a silent one after everyone fused and invested in the champ, I guess. =)

Someone pulled him ahead of time, and I faced him in Plat. There’s no way you can compete with him. It’s either ban him in LA, or bring him and hopefully outspeed. With the sheep, the turn manipulation, the stun, the extra turns, etc., you can’t compete if you don’t have him. Not sure what they were thinking with this.

one month after fusion nerf is probably lol. would be a small rework probably though, if enough ppl find a way to really break the champ. we'll see

can we also ask taras to be nerfed asap? or yumeko? obtaining them makes the game a lot easier. or do we only ask immediate nerfs to f2p champs and rich people can auto fly the game because they deserve it?

It may be that Armanz is not broken for PvE, as it was pointed out, he will make wave content for those without Seer (myself included) as easy as having a Seer comp only far slower. However, he is utterly broken for arena. He will be everywhere as cc's have already insisted that he's a "must get" or "don't skip" rightly so with that kit. The player base is all out for this guy (myself included on both my main and my f2p) as he is simply bonkers for both wave based content and arena. For arena, it will come down to who has the fastest Armanz in relentless/retaliation sets with the likes of Shu-Zhen, Ankora (if you have them) and other champs that have similar skills to bring him back around to that a2 much sooner. Duo-ed with Wukon, the farmyard, I mean arena, will be full of the fluffy memes. He and Wukon will be ever present, so do we really need the poly blessing anymore? Can Paylarium delete the blessing with the 2 shepherds in the game and say it's not needed with so many wool makers around? Just a thought.

@4:08 - "Please preserve the integrity of these events..." This guy MUST be new to the game to think events have any integrity. Points are constantly increasing on us, the rewards are nowhere NEAR good enough for the investment cost, and "fusion" events are just the same normal every day events they are constantly doing. Nothing about Plarium Fusion events has any integrity. If Plarium had any integrity, they sold it off when they initiated "Profit mode", for sure.

1 champion thats a perm fusion.... Lady mikage her 2nd form a2, is almost the same.. 30% turn reduction with a aoe stun on a 3turn cd and guess what is completly locks out nearly all wave content i do with just 330 speed but whats better is waves with bosses she can turn her form back and use ally attack! will i get him? yes. do i need him? no honestly ill probable vault him, much prefer lady mikages kit she ignores warlords and yumekos because of her Transform not going on cd vs there skills and can still do her stun in pvp where as he cannot and his sheep skill in my experience with wuukong can just prolong pve fights or even pvp fights not worried about him at all but like all raiders. im still waiting for them to nerf champions i dont own, like taras and narsas :D
