Thank you for being here. I’m worried about these students.

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 provides that no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

Props. What was the aclu’s stance on mandated medical** treatments?
  • I believe the students should divest from the university. Their parents should form a class action suit to recoup tuition for whatt they did to their children. The university would never divest. The students around the country to form a cooperative education system composed of professors and students and leave the University system that is completely connected to the predatory capitalisrmt system. We have to return to the Greeks philosophy of learning how to to think. Simone Weil espoused that it was most important aspect of learning

I totally agree with this guy. The university was way to fast on calling in the law on these kids. Although I feel like these protesters are protesting in the wrong venue, there was no reason to call in law enforcement on them. No body was threatening harm on anyone and what damage was done i.e. all the tagging with spray paint can be cleaned up. Charge the protesters with damages and call it a day. @hunboldt freelance reporting thank you for leaving the comments open.
  • This interview (sadly) really did not catch the wind in the moment, as evidenced by the following raid by crazy swat teams 4-30

Time, place and manner restrictions are content-neutral limitations imposed by the government on expressive activity. restricting the size or placement of signs on government property.

I looked at the Time, Place and Manner of Free Expression Policy and I did not see trash the place?Maybe he did?
  • WE call on the protestors to clean up the grafitti and garbage, repair the broken windows and doors, and get the f out of town.
