It’s very rare for a single event to make its mark on history. When we leaf through the pages of history, it never dawns upon us that we too are living in the history of the future. Such iconic events become a part of reminiscence.
There is this one event that fits perfectly on this definition! This event broke all previous records and became synonymous with the counterculture of the 1960s. We’re talking about none other than the Woodstock Music and Art Fair of 1969, often referred to as the “hippie fest.”

You've mixed videos of Woodstock 99 with the real Woodstock. Shame on you
  • My best friend's sister left our little town in North Carolina, quit school and headed to San Fransisco. She got to go to Woodstock and we were so jealous. I think this event could never take place today. What a wonderful experience that must have been. To see that much talent on one stage is phenomenal!!! A once in a lifetime event. Years later she shared her time at Woodstock and felt so damn lucky to have been there. An amazing 3 days of the best music of all time!!!

Not all those pictures are from 1969. I was at 69 and you can tell the difference. 1969 was the most iconic year for Woodstock. The excitement and crowd were incredible. We walked nearly 7 miles on 17B before we entered the road to Max Yasgur's farm. An amazing experience.

So many pictures of Limp Bizkit- Fred Durst wasn't even born in 1969.

Half these pics are NOT EVEN WOODSTOCK and there is NOTHING UNIQUE in the Waste of Time Video with robo narration. What a JOKE. Try again buddy.

They didn't have plastic bottles in "69". Don't attribute the "99" trash to the "69" concert.

Dude! Do you know that many of the photos and videos have nothing to do with Woodstock? Wish I could block your videos!
  • Your mixing of photos of the original Woodstock with the Shitty 90's Woodstock is a FUCKING sin.
  • In 1969, $6,000 had the buying power of $51,346 today ... not great, but not shabby, either.
  • Always believed that a lot the success & lack of violence is there were no corporate giants involved & limited liquor. Just weed, wine in skeins & acid🤗

The bands were not inclusive of race or gender - you are reading crazy terminology back into another era - they hired or integrated the best - the best players and best singers - it didn’t matter about their gender or race - there was no quota involved - but being great at your art was - that’s what brought people together. Thats why the music was so great - they had great talent.
  • 1. You chose to mix footage of the 60s event with the 90s event. This choice prompted me to hit the Dislike button. It's like having footage from a street riot inside a video about world war II. 2. You chose to entitle your video with a sentence which is an absolute lie. Every single word in it is light years away from the truth. This choice of yours prompted me to select the "don't recommend this channel" option. 3. The choice to make it a 21 minute video renders it unwatchable. 4. All of the above places you in the rank of "Deceitful Amateurs" in my book and thus, you will never see or hear from me again, unless you start having respect for yourself and for you audience. Goodbye.
  • I was 16 with a 1965 Mustang and begged my Mama to let me go. She asked where it was and when I told her New York, she lost her mind! I can't repeat everything she said (LOL) but I didn't get to go. It was probably a good thing! BTW, I live in Mississippi so it was quite an ask. Not surprised when she said NO!
  • The only way we will ever have a party like that again? Pick 20 countries around the world to all have a weekend bash of the best bands from each country! It will take tremendous amount of planning and volunteers to accomplish but wow! 😮😊❤
