The Patch That Added Broken Weapons To Fallout 4.

This new next-gen patch adds a handful of new weapons and armours to Fallout 4, while bringing 3 new questlines orientated around The Enclave, the new scrap-weapons and a special Halloween quest.
But the update didnt exactly go to plan and the new content added pales in comparison to the next-gen update that Skyrim recieved. On top of this, a lot of the new content doesnt function correctly, resulting in a lot of peoples savefiles getting corrupted. A ton of mods no longer work and Fallout 4 London was indefinitely delayed...
BUT THEY ADDED A NEW WEAPON THATS SUPER FUN! (only because its broken lmao)
Today, we'll be adventuring into the next-gen patch in all its broken mess, while enjoying the new content and breaking the game with my NEW favourite weapon. Enjoy.

I'd rate the Fallout 4 Next-gen update a solid 3/10. Baseball Launcher saved it...

Edit: a new patch came out just before this video went live that fixed a few of the bugs, but still - a bad launch is a bad launch. -
Believe it or not Jabo is actually British. So he canonical should know about makeshift firearms more than the average man.

Fun fact: the Tesla Cannon(s) are broken too and have no reload animation. Meaning they can basically be fired continuously nearly as fast as you can pull the trigger for as long as you need, or until you run out of fusion cells.
It's the update that keeps giving. -

the skyrim next gen update did way more than this; it made the game 64bit instead of 32 so we could allocate more than 4gb of ram, implemented native occlusion that they liked showing off with rain, made arrows travel further making sniper builds stronger. and that is all i remember.

its so funny how you could manually edit the Width and Height of the resolution to 5120x1440 for ultra wide and it worked before the next gen update, now it doesnt work and it forces you to use stretched, i dont even know how its possible to purposely ruin something that just needed an added setting in the launch menu

Build a square 1x1 room with a roof and a hopper underneath. Make one of the walls the wire-mesh concrete wall so you can VATS-aim at a mine though it and bobs your uncle, the balls cannot hot the mine and you have an auto collection underneath you.

Someone made a video about the 1st release version of fallout 4 and going thru all the bugs it had and I tried all of them on the "next gen update" and pretty much all of them worked. The dogmeat cryolator glitch still works on top of hundreds of others

According to the loading screen for the weapon, the baseball launcher is canonically a fusion powered leaf blower. Which would explain why it has an ammo clamp similar to the Gatling Laser
The legendary Rapid Pipe Grenade Launcher is basically Thump-Thump from New Vegas
And the new ammo shows up very sporadically in vendors. Even Elenore NW of Fairline Hills Estate doesn't carry them consistently, and when she does its not in stupid large quantities like every other ammo type -
This patch is an unhappy medium. If it were just the CC content, then it would be underwhelming, but at least wouldn't break mods. If it were similar in scale to Witcher 3's next gen patch or Skyrim Special Edition, then while it would have broken mods, it would at least have made changed that were worth breaking mods. What we got was a patch that broke mods without giving us any worthwhile improvements.
