Why Did NATO Bomb Yugoslavia? | Flashback with Palki Sharma

Western leaders have called the Ukraine war - the first major European conflict since World War II. But two decades before Russia's invasion, another European country's sovereignty was violated and its cities bombed. It was a ruthless war unleashed by the US-led NATO alliance. Catch the story of NATO's dark chapter on Flashback with Palki Sharma.

We live in a world where those who preach that they are "Good" are more evil than those they accuse of being "Evil".

As a Serbian who survived 78 days of NATO bombing in its capital, BeIgrade, I can say that made good point with this video, as short as possible. But number of victims is not correct - 800 soldiers and more than 3,500 civilians were killed by NATO. Their targets were not military - they destroyed whole infrastructure of the country - roads, bridges, factories, fuel supply chains, hospitals, even throwing cassette bombs on the green market....the idea was to destroy economy completely and make free entrance for western corporations. Also, they really wanted to kill civilians. For me, NATO is never on the right side.
  • As a Serb who survived 1999 ( was a kid ) I can say that all is truth. Thank you India for sharing truth <3

As a Serb, I find this very disturbing to watch, as I have been through this.

It's fascinating how those who have committed the most human rights violations now don the cloak of human rights and lecture others on the subject, while crying in a corner when faced with charges.

After the war, the leading NATO general who lied about the train incident had big business deals in Kosovo following the war. Other American politicians who were prominent lobbyists for Kosovo's independence and pro-war against Serbia were also awarded lucrative business contracts by the newly established Kosovo government. War is all about business for American generals and American corrupted politicians.

NATO is not a defensive alliance they are an aggressive alliance who attacked countries who can't hit back with meaningful force. why they don't go attacked Russia
  • I am Croatian, and I am Croatian patriot... but looking from lawful & politics & UN point of view, NATO did not have any right to bomb Serbia like that in 1999. No right what so ever. I know someone will say to me now, but Serbs bombed you in Croatia from 1991-95, fine, yes, they did, we had war with them, nevermind who won, nevermind who was right, but it was our war, ours. This from 1999 is just a proof, that NATO is nothin more but hypocricy-deep state alliance which was never alliance in the first place, but US-Democratic tool to do whatever they want to do around the world. If I would be American, I would be Republican, that's why I said: US-Democratic hypocricy. Cheers.

One very important point that she doesn't mention is that in the negotiations leading up to the NATO bombing, the West tried to slip in an Appendix B that would empower NATO to operate all over Yugoslavia - essentially making the entire country a NATO colony. That's the real reason Belgrade rejected the deal at Rambouillet.

Discrimination against the Slavs especially Serbians are much evident even in Sports as well. The so called West or NATO is the real culprit. I love Serbia ❤from India❤

Excellent commentary. NATO - sophisticated men and women whose hands are dripping with the innocent blood of civilians.
  • @antonfernando8409
Even the Chinese will salute you for this crystal clear history reporting, we need more honest reporting like this.
  • @MsHSpring
Darn!.. So many points to reflect on!.. History is written by victors so no one questions them and only the victims remember”, “this is an alliance😮 of sophisticated men and women but their hands are bloody with innocent blood”.. So strongly put!..
