Back in 2014 Halo and Minecraft did a Halo mashup pack in order to celebrate the Halo universe. From Halo skins to a full map with Halo locations, the Minecraft Halo Edition had it all. We take a look back at this very weird and awesome moment when Halo showed up in another game.

Fun fact, if you put on a Jack-o’-lantern the outside is master chiefs front visor and when it’s on it makes the hud from the halo games.

The memories I spent on this map, now this is what I call nostalgia

If you buy the Bedrock Edition of the pack, it does actually come with working missions in each area. The music discs are again normal, but I think that's standard for these mashups.

This was really awesome, I don't think I have ever seen these animal mobs before.

First mashup pack I had ever bought, still rocking my Rookie skin and even made a Halo world where I have the Halo Wars 1 firebase built on it and some other stuff. Honestly Halo is my favorite game but Minecraft is easily up there.

12:27 the ender dragon is the true final boss of Halo: the quad wing from H2 and H3

The wolves are Crawlers too! Changing the color of the collar changes the light color. I did this back when I had this mashup pack trial on the 360 version
  • The bedrock version actually has more of an adventure aspect to it, with objectives and everything, it might be worth checking out!

The music in that Mash-Up was absolutely Godlike and the amount of love and care that must have went into making the pack is insane.
  • Man, 4J's Minecraft was so good. The awesome mashup packs - a mixture between basic texture refinements and cool crossovers - were really only part of why I loved it. It's just such a good port, the likes of which you rarely see nowadays.

If you play this Mashup Pack on Bedrock Edition, there are actually objectives (you have to do them to get to new areas) such as Capture the Flag on Blood Gulch

To this day, this is still my favorite Mashup pack

This is the weirdest crossover since I tried to mix tequila and gatorade to beat Halo 2 LASO

i love that the texture packs also change the music as well. so it was always playing Halo music from the og trilogy and Halo Wars 1. there's also a lot of easter eggs hidden around the map, in one of the corners where the crashed pelican was, there's a Halo Wars Covenant Mega Turret sitting up on a ledge nearby
  • Did you guys know that the Minecraft halo mashup pack got so popular, they made a game franchise based off of it called "halo"?
  • Me when they start talking about Blood Gulch: “you ever wonder why we’re here?”
  • @cerjmedia
This was literally the only mash-up pack I bought. Though don't get me wrong, there was a lot of other good ones, but this one appealed to me most
