Your videos were actually quite good though and unique
  • @Myserval
fully in support of the pivot! 100% better to be creatively fulfilled outside of a corporate video production job than to drag yourself through a system where platform expectations make you preemptively push yourself upwards further into saying things you don’t really feel

funny comedy man has Gone Existential.

Wow that Kier puddle animation is so good. TF is a treat too.

found you through looking for DE essays, found you again through animating TF bits. happy to be part of the sub 4k club.

It was a pleasure watching your videogame video essays, and I'm sure it will be one to engage with whatever you end up doing next. Bravo, and good luck!
  • @downwithfun
Looking forward to whatever is next. Your voice is strong and unique, and I look forward to every time I see a new vid pop up. I am totally with you on video essay burnout though, there is far too much sludge on the platform that can easily bring down the perception

Please link your bandcamp in the description too!

Glad to see this update, and looking forward to seeing where you take it from here (if anywhere lol!)

I'm gonna stick around to see what you cook up next! Although I enjoyed your past videos, I'd rather you have fun and have a life that satisfies you.

I'm really looking forward to the new videos! I've always loved your animation, there's so much charm and personality to it, and there were a lot of fun little details in this one (particularly loved the visual depiction of the scrap takes family). Curious to see what you'll end up making, but since I've always enjoyed your work so far and your animation especially, I think I'll enjoy it.
  • Well regardless of what comes from this. I'll be along for the ride, even if that's ceasing Youtube all together. Do what is best for you. I would of advised against the unlisting of your play list of the first couple years of videos you made as I found them quite well presented and written, even the ones I didn't particularly care for or weren't interested in like the watchdogs one. One finished piece of crap is better than 10 unfinished masterpieces, so pivoting and trying it all in your spare time is a fair way to go about things. Thanks for keeping me entertained!

This is the first video of yours that the algorithm has sent me to. Thank you for potentially saving me from neverending playlists of gaming video essays

I discovered this channel because I really liked the animation style, finding out you were a fellow TF fan was a great surprise (congrats on the shout out in the Q&A bonus btw ) . Honestly if you trying new things leads to more fun surprises I’m looking forward for more.

Got Cyberpunk back, holy hell it's really damn good now- Also love the Whirling N Rags theme at the end Revachol Forever!
  • @The_McRib
"I would simply get rid of all video games to solve this conundrum" is what I'd love to say but apparently YouTube classifies it as hate and filters it. Good luck with your pivot!

But these videos are good.. I watched most of them, and was very surprised and at the same time glad that I found this channel. I received a lot.. I will say, thank you. It became something important to me. It's arrogant, but let people appreciate what you worked on. <3
