I went a little overboard with this video. It's 12 minutes long...6 minutes longer than I had planned. It's just so tough to cut the footage. Ansley is such an amazing ballet dancer, it's hard to choose what to leave on the editing floor. I wanted to keep it all!

***Gear:
Camera: Sony A6000 (fave.co/2hglVS5)
Lens: Sony 50mm f1.8 OSS (fave.co/2hhaytg)
This ballet photo shoot and the bts video were both shot with the sony a6000 and the 50mm 1.8 oss. I'm going to get a wider lens for video eventually, but to be honest, I really like the way the 50mm 1.8 looks.
The location was Lincoln Park Zoo Nature Walk in Chicago. It's a perfect spot for ballet photography. The weather was perfect...a little cold for Ansley, since she doesn't have a layer of blubber like me.

It's an amazing video, man. It's interesting from start to end, full 12m, and it's not just Ansley's breathtaking work, you always change the angles you record and the still and timeless
